Because they would cost the same, and it makes more areas we can send out waves of people like in the matrix! My last statement has an actual sense equal but it ruins the joke

Keep in mind we need to hide the money if local authorities catch on. I also suggest taking full control of the law in this city quite soon, so that will be the supreme rulers. Try also to get to the Mayor and his other people, etc.

A: Buy out one of the following Stereotypical Businesses
1. Mr Cheng's Stereotypical Chinese Pawn Shop ($30k)
3. Ivan's House of Gambling ($50k)

D: Steal a high-quality printing press from a local publisher and establish a low-key forgery racket.

F: Force any idle minions to train on a full-time basis.
We buy the casino and rip-off the gamblers.  They pawn their stuff to get more money to play.  We rip them off again and sell their stuff.

Also, gambling = loan sharking and pawn shop = fencing.

Very good sir.
Today we recieved $6k in protection from local shopkeepers.
I personally oversaw the purchase of the pawn shop and the gambling den. You will be pleasantly surprised to hear that the pawn shop is actually a front for Snakeheads running human trafficking and illegal labour operations in Retribution City. After some persuasion they agreed to supply us with immigrant labour from Asia, the first shipment of people will arrive next week.
The gambling den held a similar bonus surprise, this time in the form of an arms trafficker who frequently shoots craps there. He has agreed to sell us Kalshnikovs at knockdown prices.

The raid on the science fair went flawlessly this time, our men were able to escape with a makeshift Particle Fraculator. No, I don't know what it does either.

In addition, 3 Gangstas have become Gangsters, and one Gangster has become a mobster through training

Here are your assets:

Cash: $19,000
Minions: 1 Mobster, 19 Gangsters, 6 Wannabe Gangstas (Incompetant)
Henchmen: Vinny the Brick (Mafia Hitman. Immensely strong and resilient but not overly bright)
Other: 1 crate of shoddy quality cigars, 5 crates of tinned anchovies, 5 crates of crappy olive oil, a science fair Particle Fraculator
Facilities: One simple training room.
Fronts: Luigi's Pizza, Mr Cheng's Pawn Shop, Ivan's House of Gambling.

Might I suggest the following options?

A: Invest $10,000 in one of your new businesses.
B: Rob a bank in the city
C: Rob a bank in a totally different country (More risky, but no-one will be able to trace it back to us here)
D: Steal a high-quality printing press from a local publisher and establish a low-key forgery racket.
E: Send some of your minions to the library to see if they can figure out what the Fraculator does.
F: Screw learning, just kidnap a science lecturer from the local community college and make him figure it out.
G: Kidnap a foreign expert to work the machine. (risky, but untraceable and more likely to net us a competant egghead)
H: Spend $15,000 on Kalashnikovs for your men. They're currently using antique Tommy Guns and defective Uzis smuggled into the country by Zionist insurgents.

Buy those Klashinovs... or whatever... then go after the foreigner. Send Vinny, our one mobster, and a few gansters to kidnap. Let's also try to get more blackmarket contacts. Also try to corrupt some government officials.

Let's also try to get more blackmarket contacts so we may obtain stereotypical AK-47s..

Fun fact: AK-47 is short for Avtomat Kalashnikova 1947.  ;)

I'm American what do you expect?   ;) I'm practicly allowed to be stupid at times.  :P Black market contacts will allow us to obtain more weapons, body armor, etc. Imagine our mobsters supplied with Kevlar vests and M-16s.

First buy Kalashnikovs, then use them to rob the city bank.

^ exactly what I was thinking.

and F. I don't think we're big enough to go overseas just yet.

Keep him hostage to just generally figure stuff out.
Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.
