I am very curious and I have preorderd the game.
As far as I can see the  story mode/lvling up   is fun enough.
If it can intangle me for 2 years like wow dit, I dunno.

Only thing I'm missing is a nice video  that shows how the combat system actually works. All video's only contain melee form one point of view.

If any more people are going to try this let me know what server you get on. Are the european and us servers separate? Anyway, post here if you are going to play this game.
Riligious people believe god created man, I believe man created god.
And after the Spore release you can be god ^^

Got alot of friends and even have our own forum for AoC.

Im not that sure it'll break the earth and change the way we look at gaming forever, so i just hope it doesn't fail.

I have heard from people that have been playing the beta that the separate zones are really, really small and boring. Which kind of suprises me because I thought the point of an MMO was to have big attractive looking zones.
Spore fan since day one.

I'm surprised that there has been no mention of this before, during, or after the PvP beta. From what I've heard, it is still a promising game, albeit that it suffers from some minor bugs and inconsistencies.

Ah, my computer is rather nice.

8800 GT OC, 2 gigs of 1066 RAM, and an E6750 Dual Core.

Lots and lots of updates on the main site

Spellweaving is revealed and it looks very nice indeed.

The fact that you can boost your dmg by risking your life is awesome. I sure hope it's balanced.

You can read more on the Official Forums or on another Gaming blog

Does anyone know if steve is interested in this game?  I heard he played wow and love to hear his thoughts on conan.

I don't think steve is here anymore, unless he is powerlurking.

Heavy instancing, lots of loading, character creation is a sham, and the gameplay is boring.

I'm hearing disturbing things about the beta.
And I'm hearing wonderful things.

Can you please tell us what you didn't like about the game?

Character creation is a sham?.........why?
Loading screens are annoying........but are they not just dependent on your computers performance/server performance.
What is so boring about the gameplay?..........are you new to mmo or are you a veteran who has seen better?

All I can hope for is that funcom solves all the problems for release. But I expect the prerelease people get another 4 day beta instead of a head start.
I just hope the game gets polished and it will be as good as I imagine it to be. We'll see.

Character creation is a sham because it is extremely limited. You are given basic faces than you can morph, but you can only morph certain features or you end up looking like a freak. Regardless, you still end up looking like a somewhat different version of the same face.

I have a top-of-the-line computer that still has to load a ton.

I'm a veteran of MMOs. I've been playing them since 1999. The gameplay is simply no different than any other MMO. It is just masked by the combo system.

Yeah, I've been in beta since December. Let's just say I canceled my pre-order.
