9 multiplayer maps for local or online play, 20 different weapons including but not limited: cainswords, plasma guns and bolters.

You fight as the ultramarines in 13 missions and possibly three other chapters online (1 imperium and 2 chaos).

See all the details here.

I've been getting really into handheld games lately.

So is Warhammer an RTS or something? That could work very well with the touch-screen. I know that Advance Wars and Age of Empires have used it well.

Nope this is a turn based squad game. Think X-com.

Me to but this should ease the wait a little. I love turn based strategy games and I love Warhammer 40k. Judging from your post you, at least, love Warhammer 40k so that is one major reason to buy it.

Another believer!

That would be lame.
Dawn of War was pretty awesome. I say they should devote their efforts to making expansions for that until all the factions are playable (especially Tyrranids goddamnit!) and then move on to making a sequel.

They are probably working on a sequel as we speak. The MMo is announced though not much else is known.

Can anyone find thoose video's on youtube were a man is walking around in a very cool Space Marine suit? It looks ALMOST real. The videos are boring though, all he do is walking around.

Demo is out.

The game is awesome, I could summarize, but Tycho/Jerry from Penny Arcade probably says it better then I ever could:

This thing is **** hot.

It's coming for the DS as well, but I'm having a hard time believing it will compare favorably with the demo I just ran through. Grab it for yourself, toss it in PSP/GAME/NPEH90001 and dig in. You can adjust loadouts on any member of the squad they give you, but there aren't many weapons available here. I think it looks great as well, but I found the destructible environments and precise line of sight features very appealing. When selecting an enemy to attack, that UI element that comes up is asking you if you want to add Action Points beyond the cost of the attack to improve your accuracy. At least, that's what I think. Also, I think you might be able to reserve some AP to attack enemies that cross your field of vision during their turn. At least, I think. I'm not sure.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to play it again.
