Ocean's Thirteen
« on: June 09, 2007, 08:21:00 am »
Saw it last night. Very good, on par with Ocean's Eleven. Unfortunately you really do need to see that abomination Ocean's Twelve to get a lot of the jokes in Thirteen. This is one you'll probably want to rent and watch the first two before you go see this one, just to be up to date on the characters, because there is very little character development.

I thought Ocean's Twelve was good. Why did you hate it so much?

I felt 12 was a big disjointed inside joke lacking focus. It was not bad, but it just didn't fall together like 11 did (or 13).

I agree. It was just so diffuse.
The Ocean's films work best when theres one big heist that they all work on together.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

I haven't seen twelve yet, but I did love eleven... I hope you're wrong about it not being good. >.<

I'm giddy about thirteen, though.

Watch 12 1st. There's two characters in 13 that are from 12. It will make more sense, and will add a joke at the end.

That's the one with that French guy groaning about the diamonds, right?

If I'm right...that was hilarious.
