yes, that exists in europe and in the u.s.  you are able to order them.

well, many people i know use it to play their downloaded games on their ds. it works fine as long as its pure for illegal games.

also, i thought it was called a M3 or R4, but that might be the name of the product....

The Play-Yan is the only thing I know of that lets you watch and play video and audio files on your DS.

However it's probably reaching it's first birthday and I have not looked into any other equipment that does stuff like this since it came out.

well, the play-yan is way bigger than the R4. the R4 is the same size as a NDS cardridge.
so their size decreased in their evolutionary path...

depents on how much space the Micro SD has you put in the R4.

I have the R4DS myself, and I have to say its one of the best things I've ever bought. Pick yourself up a 2gb microSD off Amazon too and you can get maybe 10-15 games onto it (if you own the originals of course. Wouldn't want to break any laws now would we ). You can even play mp3s and (converted) movies on it, and theres a pretty decent SNES emulator about.

Yeah, I got an R4DS with a 1GB microSD card for slot-1 and a Supercard SD with a 2GB SD card for slot-1 and I can listen to mp3s, watch movies, look at pictures, play games, use homebrew apps and of course: access the internetz
