Yep. I hope I can turn that off, because if I want my friends playing in my game I'll tell them without orbs.

Well, from the way he said it, one could infer that you could only get the orbs of your friends on XBL.

fable 1 was good...but all those promises just made it a let down

I went into Fable 1 not knowing anything about it. So I just so happened to actually enjoy the game for what it was, rather than what it wasn't. Rather than worrying too much about the features promised in Fable 2, I'm just going to play it and compare it to the first one to see where they improved.

I won't fall into the hype trap.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

AND YOUR NAME IS SPORE BACKWARDS!

Well, from the way he said it, one could infer that you could only get the orbs of your friends on XBL.
but he said "everyone" so it might not be, but i know they wouldn't purposely ruin the game so its possible that its just friends, we will have to wait and see i suppose

Because he lied to be about Black & White, Fable, and Black & White 2.

He's the worst offender when it comes to overhyping a game. You need to take everything he says with a grain of salt. And I know he said he would try his hardest not to overhype Fable 2 but I still am being wary.

Sadly, this is true.
Kings 2:23-24 --- The Holy Bible
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youth.

I concur, this game will likely be quite good. Peter Molyneux has a bad habit of overhyping his games, and then falling short of his promises, but even so, the games are still quite good.

as i have stated before, you are over-hyping just as much as molyneux, you're both at fault

Over hyping? Bah. I liked Fable 1, and Fable 2 is looking to be all of what Molyneux promised. Also, how is anyone "at fault"? It's a game for pete's sake.

they are at fault for making the game seems more amazing, than it is promised to be.

anywho, there is a new video displaying the world of Albion, showing off The Bowerstone Cemetary, The Temple of Shadows, and the Bandit's Coast.

They're at fault for making a game better than the hype? *Heh heh* grammar error *heh heh*

Edit: That video looks fan-freakin'-tastic. What worries me is that they haven't shown real free-roaming.

i share those same worries  :-[
even the co-op presentation was sorta on a path...In oblivion you could walk from one side of cyrodill to the other with nearly no interruptions, i hope thats the case here, instead of the annoying Fable 1 system where you need to go thorugh a gate to get to the next place

One of the IGN Livewire videos shows off quite a bit of the free roaming.  The game is still seperated into different regions, i.e. you're in a large field and then you have to go through a gate and load to get to the city, etc, but you do appear free to completely roam the areas, you aren't stuck on the path, some of the videos show the character running right off the path and jumping over fences, etc, and there's even an achievement for dropping 500 feet from a ledge.

In my opinion, this works better than the big, open, clunky world of Oblivion/Morrowind.
