*Nerco bump*

(Funny that the fallout thread is still going)

Anyway, I want to pick up this game, but it all depends on one thing:

Does the dog die? If he does, you can forget it, I'm not doing it.
I really like dogs, and I hate movies/games that kill dogs.

When playing Fallout I made sure that dogmeat was a required character (Even though there is going to be a perk that does that in the new DLC)

So, I will go to the store right now and pick it up if the dog lives. I know this sounds dumb, but I'm odd like that  :)

Thanks

the dog cannot die in combat but can be wounded. He will just limp though, no scarring, and you can heal him. but...
STORY SPOILER
he does die as part of the story (just before the end of the main quest line). you can resurrect him by choosing to do so at the end of the game or with the first DLC "knothole island".

Yeah so I got the DLC, it was ok. Short, yes, but they were entertaining enough. I'm hoping for a real expansion after vision into the future or perhaps Fable 3.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

I agree, they were all disappointingly short, I can't say I was a fan of the snow globe, but I did enjoy the skull and the secrets strewn through it all.

Yeah, the snow globe definitely seemed... well... Lacking. It could have been SO much more! I mean what was the deal with the killer children? Why were the shadows there? I mean come on! I was severely saddened by that mission.

I did like the skull too, and Knothole Glade was fun enough i guess..
