Wow, nice stuff! Let us see if I can compete with it... ;)

Some of you might remember these guys, the Chrybdul:

I used (almost) the same techniqe as Inkling, the legs are all wired up. ;D
And sorry for the blurrynes, it really is difficult to take pictures of such small stuff.

Btw, the picture is almost exactly to scale.

Well i think i have to give some tips on photography. (based on my limitid experiance.)

Now when you take photos you whant to have a focused picture with as larger Depth of field as possible. To achive this you need to have as small aperture as possible. The smaller aperture the larger Depth of field. You do this by configuring the Diaphragm. Now what you lose is light when you do this. Your picture gets darker. But to compenacte you can use lighting. You whant to use some lighing anyway. I surgest that you look up a guide on basic 3 point lighting. You can also incress the exposure. Longer exposure equals more light. Normaly you do not whant to long exposure when your takeing photos as the picture will get fuzzy when things move around. But models are still so you can have very long exposure if you wish. Just make sure you do not move the camera around. Normaly when you put your focus on you model you try to put it on the eyes. But becuse you are all dealing with Alien Creatures you may have to use you own judgment on this. With a little luck you will not have to fiddel to becuse of the incressed Depth of field.

Thats just some small tipes i can give. If it works out please post the result. :)

Zooming in will not give you Depth of field result. (Not even to mention how much 3 point lighting can enhance a picture. Something you can not do with just a zoom :P )

Yeah i forgot to say that i really like your clay model Neferrhor. The photography is pretty good to.

Everyone forgot my clay figurines. :(

Now that we have a thread about creatures made with clay, we need a thread about creatures made with the Spore creature editor. ::)

I created a gameboard with planets and stuff protruding from it, but it was before I discovered CC, and I used other alien figures  :-\

Wow, Flisch and Neferrhor, those are really awesome!!  :-*

Too bad my Vexarions are pretty much impossible to make with clay because of their legs  :P (but what do I know; I havent touched clay since the 2nd grade).
I say NO! to all limits.
Unfortunately, I don't think we're far enough into the Civ stage to have deveoped into the 'Infinite-ghz processing' research tree yet...
