My Fault, a should have named the title "Evolving on an Ice Planet", because Snowy Planet can be misleading. I do not know why I didn't see those when I searched it, because I'm 99.9% sure I used Ice Planet(and variations). Also, only one of those topics really include evolving on an ice planet, which is what this topic was supposed to mean. Sorry for being confusing :-\

There will be ice planets... but talking about evolving on an icy planet by startıng with the tidepool stage on it. I think this will be possible, Im not sure.

You uh... just gotta put sum oxygen in der.... yah put oxygen in dat der atmosphere-ish deal der.
(Poor impression of canadian accent, anyone?)

I take offense... It's not even cold up here. (15 degrees Celcius, for you Fahrenheit goons.)

Also.. Fur would be critical, so let's hope.

I'm sorry, I was just in a poor impressionistic mood. But why do you make me do the Celcius > Fahrenheit conversions?!

Celcius rocks.  It is the only temp system that actually makes sence.  Fahrenheit was some crazy english guy puting random stripes on a thermometer.

What is wrong with Fahrenheit temperature scale. Us english guys are quite bright, even when we put random stripes on a thermometer.

It doesn't make sense, and it pains scientists from around the world.  (Yes, there actually is a world outside your own country  ;))

How bright do you have to be to pu random stripes on a thermometer?  It seems as if a monkey could do it...

Why are you proud that we have chavs? That's possibly the worst thing ever to hit england. seriously, worse than the plague.

anyway, yeh, we use celcius. Fahrenheit is mental. Celcius makes sense, 0-100 = freezing point of water --> boiling point of water.

Fahrenheit 0-100 = feezing point of salt water --> anal temperature of a cow

Ignoring the odd and senseless arguments over measurements of temperature, I really hope one can evolve on an icy/snowy planet.  I love ice and snow and would enjoy having creatures that thrive in such an environment, rather than all my creatures needing to have a planet as warm as humans require to live.
Earth has been a lovely place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live here.
