You could also have a vampire instead of Mafia, starting with one vampire, who can then bite one person each night, who will then also become a vampire, and lose their primary power. Only the vampire "boss" can convert (bite).

Like 'Salem's Lot. I like this idea.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone elses opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation." - Oscar Wilde

Yes, I am aware of the irony.

The rules would have to be tweaked quite a bit to do that... I mean the central disadvantage of the mafia is their low numbers, they'll pull even in seconds if they were converting rather than killing.

yes but only the boss can convert, not everyone. if the boss is dead, they're screwed. Also, you could change the rules that everyone has to become vampire, rather then have a majority.

Anyway, I didn't really suggest you'd change it, I was just brainstorming :P

The way voting works, a majority is all the side in the know ever need.

There's no way the vampire twist is going to work under the current ruleset, i'm sorry. Conversion rather than elimination pretty much eradicates the mafia's disadvantage.

Heh, look at the oldest thread in the forum games section. I wonder why it never worked out for them but it worked for us?

Maybe because that looks like more of a RP and because Luminar sent out PM's

A wise Surface to Air Missile once said about marrying 9 year olds in Saudi Arabia "Its pretty hard to tell if a 9 year old is going to be hot when she grows up, kids change a lot, usually, seems like a bad system. That cute little nine year old you married could end being a fat, zitty teenager."
