a couple of things
« on: July 17, 2005, 06:52:27 pm »
1) i know this is a dumb question, but i can't find part 2 of the interview. could someone help me out with that?

2) I think i heard somewhere that maxis is aiming at a teen game? i want to make sure this is true because my dad won't let me get any games where you're encouraged to needlessly exterminate a race of inteligent beings... go figure. if it's a teen game, then i don't need his permission to get it. (fyi, fye sold me "full metal jacket," a very r-rated movie, and a cd with the parental advisory sticker on it, chances are they'll sell you M games unless this new law comes in to effect)

I know this probably shouldn't have been made a new post, but i didn't know where/who else to ask. i apologize for my ignorance. please no bannage.

No offical word, but i think teen is probably what they want.
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear at all, I meant the transcript for the second interview (if there is one). Sorry.

There was only one interview with Will Wright, which Steve split into two parts.

And don't worry, you won'y get banned for being new.  ;) I don't know if you know this but there is a search button near the top.

And about the rating, I expect Teen or under.

Of course there'd be a mod to put it back in, if it was removed...

One is 'fake', the other is not, guess which!

I dont think there would be a mod, just a parental control option to turn blood on/off.

I beleive thats listed as "Cartoonish Violence" under the teen rating. The sims has something like that.

Yeah, The Sims was also rated T, even if it was the only game I know where you can kill Babies/Children.
I believe that Spore will also be rated T, the case of a genocide made by the player would be in the same category as the child murder in The Sims; it can be done, but it's not intended by the developer.

Does that mean that both parts of the interview are on the one transcript? sorry for being so stupid...

think theyll have a "rock the love nest mod"  lol  then maybe politicians can decry  the sim games as life simulators teaching us all to be homosexuals or something.
I survived the flood of 2008 and all I got was this crappy homelessness.
