Coding, bugs, design, graphics, gameplay - the game was nowhere near finished.  It has all the core elements yes, but to make sure it is as good as possible at release they need the time.  This is very common amongst big games.

10th grade isn't important.
If you don't want to get any higher education, and get a high paying job...
Plus it looks bad on your resume...

At least you arn't going to spend your 10th grade year doing the chicken dance...

One is 'fake', the other is not, guess which!

...Du...
...Du haSt...
...Du haSt mich...

That's about all you'll get out of me besides a few swear words.

Anyway this is about Spore (kind of).

To me the game looked only about of the way done.. if that.. just the central parts of the core of each game mod elaid into place he had to manually shift the modes to preset conditions in the demo.. suggesting it was far from being complete.

Really? I got: They will not insult Germany!
And that's closer to the truth...
because I'm not the one making fun of Germany...

If you watch the demo closely, you'll see the game still needs a lot of work.  The AI for instance looks like it isn't even close the being completed.  Tanks trolled through city buildings and wandered around aimlessly for instance.

Did anyone mention there is no procedural texturing in the creature editor and no death conditions implmented yet?  :)

Besides, I would expect a more gradual creature change than a sudden change like shown in the demo, maybe you get evolution points throughout the game and then using these points you can buy various parts for your creature (ie: grasper might cost more than just getting a joint, etc). Then one would have a more gradual creature change, maybe when you first walk on land you will still have fins, until you have enough points to remove them later.

No, he used the polite version.  "Sie werden" is the polite version of "you will".  Trust me, my family lived in Austria for years ;).

"Sie werden" can mean both. It's both the polite version of "you will" and the usual version of "they will".
Usually, the polite form starts with a capital letter (even in the middle of a sentence) and the regular form with a small letter, but here it can mean both because it's at the beginning.
Oh and "nicht beleidigen deutschland" should be more like "Deutschland nicht beleidigen", so indeed the sentence would be "Sie werden Deutschland nicht beleidigen"  ;)

Trust me, it's my mother tongue  ;D

this got into a discussion of who knows more about the german language. I will now lock it, because it got so ridiculously off topic
