Hmmm. I'll go and see it if it has the T-1000 from Terminator 2 as the new good robot. He was clearly the awesomest bad guy.

A better one? I don't see how there can be a fourth film. The third one seemed like it was finally the end with all the bombing all over the world. :P

I agree Robert Patrick can be the only real other option for a good terminator. Although I guess they may just sneak around that by having anyone play the T-1000 seeing it can morph into anyone. Still here's hoping.

They should just get the Rock to play the Terminator.  Although, it is a little hard to take him seriously in anything, he still seems like an obvious replacement.

Why do we even need another sequel?  I've not seen any of the movies for sometime, so correct me if I'm wrong, but, didn't the end of the third movie lead into what happened in the first two?  Do we really need anything else to explain this, or is it supposed to be showing what happens during the machine war/how it ends?

I really liked the end of the thrid movie, it was a pretty strange and thought provoking way to end the series, and I found it funny when people leaving thought it was a cliff-hanger.

Why a fourth movie? Because they're just getting good! The one thing I always looked for in all the movies, were the future scenes where man is fighting the machines. Now they can finally show the war in its entirety, at least up to the point where they've got skynet on the ropes and its forced to send machines into the past.

I haven't seen the third one, and I can't say the first two rated among the best movies I've ever seen. I still find it funny that Arnie only had 14 lines in the entire first movie.

If they made a 4th one, I would hope it would have a child star (hopefully 6 - 8 ) like the 2nd, only instead of being a character, he would be the new Terminator.  Think about it: Its smaller, can sneak around easier, and no-one would suspect it to be the terminator.  It would also be a joke on PCs: As technology gets more advanced, it gets smaller.

Yeah, it's a great summer movie.  Though for me the best part was after a particularly large explosion, a perfectly timed "DAYUM" from a black guy on the back row.

Well, In my opinion it was a fun movie.  You will notice from that article that pretty much all the reviewers have a rather low opinion of video games.  Which would imply that if you do like videogames, you'll like the movie.  Seeing as this is Gamingsteve, you should all love it.

Pretty much what Pat said. Some great action and effects, but don't go if you're expecting any kind of closure in the series. Or anything important to happen... at all.

Didn't care for Transformers 1 at all...Everything except the effects was so terribly lazy, and it was so full of hastily-written soap-grade comedy. I might have watched T4 but certainly not Transformers 2!  :)
