Sim Highlands - Episode 6
« on: April 03, 2007, 10:55:47 am »
Hey. I am a little new here, well, I am new to posting here, I have been reading this forum since around January. Anyway, this is a Sim Caveman/SimRome/Sim Caveman2/Desert Dweller. I may not update it as often as Hydromancer does, mabey one or two time a day.

Oh, and thanks to Hydromancerx for the tips and mods

Sim Highlands

__________________________________________________________________

These are the vast highlands of this world, it is a very wet, cold place. Infact, its winters last longer and summer and fall never seem to come while this far north. Vegetables thrive in the seasons between winter, but life is scarce other than the fish.

This is Chip Mountains, he is a brave explorer, ready to brace and tame these wild lands. He only has with him a few seeds, a copper axe, and the cloth he wears. Can he survive these harsh lands? You decide.

Yep, the seasons set here go Spring-Spring-Winter-Winter. I did it like this to add a sense of urgency and to try something differant than the other two Sim Cavemen.

What shall Chip do next?

(Expansions I have: University, Nightlife, OFP, Seasons. No Pets :( and no stuff packs.)

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Well well well. I can't wait to get Seasons. Then maybe I might feel what it is like to do this. Great stuff. And the harsh conditions make it even more of a challenge.

Best idea yet (I'm serious, like 20,000 Leagues Under the sea, or something)

I actually like this.  So far I'm beginning to see a pattern develop:
Sim Caveman stuff=Tribal progression
Sim normal/The movies=Just the normal game
What about an RP one?

Might want to leave that to the Spore folks...

I think a Sims RP might be hard short of playing The Sims Online.

Why simulate something that we all know so much about?  ::)

Hopefully at some point all of these sims will merge or meet. It would be easy to do by trading files. There could be a common "stargate" for meetings and swaping.

Oh and someone should do Sim Alien, the masterminds behind the whole Stargate thing.

Explore and Chop Pine won so thats what Chip did.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Chip decided to chop down a pine tree for some wood.

After some hard labour, he managed to get 8 large logs and some branches and small logs. (Sorry bought the build mode, didnt realize that.)

Chip then decided to search his new home. He soon realized that the river was blocking his way north, he would need to make a bridge or a raft device to expllore farther that way.

After some more exploring he found a small cavern, he decided not to go in because he was a little scarred.

Chip then went back to his pile of small branches and logs and thought about what he could do with them.

After some time he finally decided to craft a fishing pole so he could mabey catch a meal.

At first it seemed like Chip would'nt catch anything he was so bad :(

However, soon chip got the hang of it and caught a small Blue Catfish.

Night came and he decided to make a seat out of the tree stump, he moved the axe and sat down. He then placed his catch infront of him. He had no fire so he had to eat the fish raw, hopefully it was healthy!

Finally after a long day Chip fell asleep on the floor. He needs a fire to cook his meals and a bed to sleep on. He also needs to stock up for the long winter!

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.
