Sims 2 Story - The Atomic Family
« on: March 03, 2007, 02:20:16 pm »
Meet the Atomic family. They are your classic stereotypical 50's TV family. We will be following their lives similar to a sitcom. But you the viewer will be able to get to vote on what events they get to go do.

Dick Atomic
Your typical businessman and breadwinner. He works hard and bring home the bacon. He looks snazzy in a suit and loves golf. He is always wanting to make more money and is your stereotypical family guy.

Tracy Atomic
She is your typical homemaker. Cooking, cleaning and raising the kids. Makes pies for the bake sale and gossips with the other homemakers in the neighborhood. She loves her family and makes sure they are taken care of.

Dick Jr.
The oldest child in the family. Dick Jr. is your typical jock who loves baseball, football and just about any sport. he collect baseball cards and wants to drive the family car. The cheerleaders love him and he wants to run for school president. In short he loves to be the center of attention.

Jane
The youngest child and the cutest. She loves dolls and animals. She is very innocent and cute. She gets in trouble but no one gets made at her for too long since she is so cute. Her favorite toy is Timmy the Teddy Bear.

Fido
Man's best friend. He is the top dog and is very loyal to his master. Likes bones, fetch and chasing the cat. He loves his family and a good belly rub.

Felix
The cute cat that loves to sleep. This kitty loves children, especially Jane. He loves to get treats and chase birds mice. Milk is also yummy too.

Hope you enjoyed this and stay tuned next time when I show off the house ....

Haha... Dick.  :D

Seriously, this could be a funny alternative to follow alongside the simhouse, how often will you post new episodes? How often is there a vote? Will you have full controll over them or are they free to do what they want on their own? Can the daughter fly with thoose wings? The questions are many.

I still have to finish furnishing the house. it looks just like those "leave it to beaver" homes. It should be cool once finished :D

As often as i can. I am hoping one a day.

How often is there a vote?
Whenever there is something i want to have an event on and they will last from one day to a week depending upon if its a minor or major event.

I am going to say about  50/50. I will try to have them do stuff on their own so they do unexpected things. However fro thing like events i will tell them to go do thing. Such as go to the park, go to a job or build a snow man, if thats what the event is.

No its just a costume. Since he like to dance like a ballerina pixie thing. You know to look extra cute.

Well this will change as we go. I am just starting with a stereotypical family. I am sure they will get into a lot of non stereotypical trouble that would never been seen on those 1950's TV shows.

Also comment a lot. I love getting feedback and it will help me make this even better. Feel free to give suggestions.

That's what makes it funny. It makes fun of those typical functional familes.

New babies and job rewards are fun too.

Please make one run a business. I have never seen OFB.

I think Dick Jr's clothes look wrong for the year.  Try this site for some ideas.

http://www.fashion-era.com/1950s/1950s_4_teenagers_teddy_boys.htm#Typical_Late_1950s_Teenagers.  If you want him to be a greaser give him a leather jacket and jeans for example. You can choose the 1950's along the top for more information on decor and fashion

Just a weird question, but will the girl have an imaginary friend? I would love to see the teddy bear talking to her...

Lol, yes! Or what if it was Dick Jr. with the imaginary friend, or even one of the parents :D.

It's possible to extract one of the Social bunnies with Sims PE, then you can have it as part of the house and just pretend only she can see him. (And you can control him).
