The Kratok
« on: February 18, 2007, 12:17:12 am »
Well, because of me returning from leaving, the numerous new little races to tinker with. For everyone that was there, yes, I'm not going to use the old topics because I didn't actually think about any of that stuff then. If your a moderater reading this, please leave them be. Currently though I am still working on them a bit more so I'm just going to but there basic now and then I'm going to sleep.

Kratokian basics
Kratoks are an arachnid race that have four, legs, a basic back, with the head at the bottem with four arms, each with three hands surrounding the mouth. Above this on the back are four large stalks with millions of hairs at the end that pick up sounds like ears. Yes they don't have eyes.
There a large creature for an insect, about four feet on all fours. The reason why don't collapse is that instead of the regular carapace we see on our planet, Kratokians have millions of layers, like a humans skin, only much thicker with only one layer.
As I said, too see, instead of actually seeing they use sonar. This, being one of there latest evolutions (Look for history later) was mostly evolved. This infact became there main, and almost only, defence. The Kratok, slightly like the Omics yelling defence, have instinctivley learned that every being and substance has a sonar weakpoint, where a tone can explode creatures or atleast leave them close enough to be avoidable.

History/Evolution: The Kratok are actually quite a long race, dating back before any creature. They lived a succesful life much like humans, but unfortuantly, there sun had grown faster, and by the time that they would have discovered space, there sun had grown so large that it started melting the surface of the planet making it unlivable. Knowing there fate if they stayed up at the surface. So, across the planet every Kratok went underground for safety.  Soon enough they became encased, unable to do anything but stay there, they started going insane and de-evolving. Millions of years past while they where trapped inside by there sun, evolving to be able to see in the caves mostly, untill there sun finally calmed down into a White Dwarf, and they were able to come back out, which leads to this current day
The scary alternate Kratok/kotark. Scary huh?
Umm... More snake? I'm running out of things...
Ofcourse, by this time the Kratok are actually sapient, and in the universe. It just sounds better.

Also, the Kratoks planet is open, but I'm going to mod kill you if you try something stupid.

Finally I get off my lazy ass!

Because I don't care right now, I'm going to skip history. If you care, tell me.Lets see if anyone buts the profesionals do

Basic Kratokian Ship: This basic Kratok uses a basic laser beam weapon, magnetic movement and charging, and a little inventment called the chomper. Each three run offs hold trooper ships and a large giant laser beam. The main body holds everyone running the ship and sometimes passengers moving, carrying whole collenies at a time. The only reason the ships stay together is because of magnetic charges in them holding them together shown in scribbles here: If you can't understand my picture, the main ship has a negative magnet surrounding it, where the free break offs have a negative power aswell, pulling them apart to make sure they don't crash. The break offs also each have a negative and positive pull on either side. The only reason they don't just all fall off is all the positive magnets are stronger. These pulls create a chain reaction, causing them to start spinning, faster and faster, some unlucky people and spies get caught in its start, ripping them like butter hit by a falling cat, Usually though its kept still with the positive charge decreased. With this increasing power they use the laser to chop through armies in giant groups.
As for the chomper, its actually a web, with a filling of little nanobots inside. This is kept inside the middle of the main ship, and let out using more magnets. the big thing about chomper nanobots, is that they cling onto most solids, and rip them apart, then special producers make more chompers with these ripped out peices.
L
Weapons! [PICTURE FOUND]
The hand sword: Basic Kratokian melee weaponry. This weapon goes over the leg as a glove, with four blades fitted on the claws. Each of these are two feet long, and moveable by there corrosponding finger. There are about one hundred practices about how to use this weapon.

Wind blade: The Kratok version of the heat blade. It uses a very powerful engine equivelant to a tank to speed up wind. Its usually used to tear up people in suits, launch enemies around, and general havoc. Only high level soldiers even see them out of the battle feild.

Mosquito: The mosquito is really a hollow needle, connected to a vacummed bag, connected to two other vacummed bags. This, unfilled, is about as thin as a regular bullet. this is shot, painfully, into the enemy. From here the tip of the needle melts due to iron in the blood, and the bags pull out the enemies blood.

Since I'm reactivating, I guess I should continue.

Kratokian Religion: The Kratoks religion is a very brutal one, based on ruling. The main god is of fire, burning all that it passes. To gain honour with this god, Kratok continuesly battle with eachother. Every year, fifty Kratok are chosen from the groups on there planet. In curent times, these Kratok go up onto the surface of there planet and use it as a massive battleground. at the end of the first week the survivors are let back in. This includes avoiding the ever constant rain of meteors on the surface, and hunting for food and water. If some survive from a losing group, they are sacrificed to the core of the planet.

Analisys of the Kratokian planet, Ural: Ural, the largest, and of the few remaining planets, in the Solar System Ragule, Universe Abyssian(lol), Quadrent D(I think...). When the planet was almost burned by there sun, most of the water evaporated out of the atmosphere, with just a portion of it left underground, so most Kratok groups and tribes stayed underground. Right now all water is transported from the remaining planets on the outer rims, all completly water. When all other planets burned, most were actually left out of range, just melting and tearing apart in the heat. These torn up scraps continued rotating around the Sun, and got caught in Urals gravity. The debri became unstable in the big planets orbit, and continuesly rained down crushing the planet. All surface dwelling Kratok were nomadic, always moving, all of there things mobile and able to move at any time. AAt the present everything is underground. The planet is actually more of a giant highway of gears, from moving children to school or dropping sacrifices to the core.
