I hate extremists who support gun control.

Troll bait, I know, but my gripe is this - or, rather, people who actually don't understand what they're saying when they spout off on political issues.

People who support gun control are no more extremists than people who support gun legalisation. Furthermore, there are whole shades of grey in "gun control", unless you believe that owning assault rifles, RPG launchers and cruise missiles is absolutely fine. If anything, believing that all gun control is bad is the extremist position.

It's like calling socialism "extremist" despite the fact that there are a whole lot of socialist countries, who are also doing quite well with that system of government; and most people who say they hate socialism would run crying if the state-provided services they're used to collapsed overnight.

I feel as if I've mentioned this one before but I've got a real problem with the people that think that a yield sign is the same thing as a stop sign.

The road we were merging onto was perfectly clear, not a car in sight, and the guy in front of me comes to a dead stop at the yield sign. So now I've got to brake hard, the guy behind me has to brake hard, and the guy behind him has to brake hard. Thank goodness we were all going slow anyway (we all at least knew that much about the sign). Maybe I shouldn't have anticipated so much from the driver in front of me but still. We all took the test and passed so we should all know what the sign means.

Yield signs ARE NOT the same as stop signs.

Don't they mean yield to oncoming traffic or something like that?

You see yield signs on most onramps and on some offramps. In this case I was on an offramp merging onto a two lane road. When you near the sign you're supposed to slow down and check to see if there is any traffic heading toward you on the road you're about to merge onto. If there is traffic coming you stop and let them pass because they have the right-of-way. Then you wait until the road is clear, merge, and continue on your way. If there is no traffic you are free to continue on and merge without any trouble. You should still slow down though so that you have enough time to make sure the road is clear.

In my case the road was clear and the guy came to a full stop.

Be thinkful you don't live where I live, drivers are really dumb here and this type of thing all the time. Speaking of which, I hate it that although they banned cellphone use in cars they weren't smart enough to ban texting too. So now, every time I'm going down the freeway I'm seeing some dumbass slow down our whole lane because he's texting his damn friend! Argh, it's so frustrating sometimes that things can become slow for such a trivial reason.

Speaking of drivers...no one (ok, maybe 1 in every 6 people) here seems to use turn signals. I find this irksome. Quite irksome. Is this universal or just the area I'm from?

All of you got it easy, actually.

Spend a day or two driving in my city, or better yet, ride a jeepney, preferrably the ones with a driver that just finished taking crack (no seriously, there are a lot of those down here).
