I was a real grump while I was on painkillers after having mine out.  I don't know if the doctor didn't give me the fun drugs, or if that's just how I react to them.
Probably not a Goat, either.

Was it Vicodin?

What was it like to be as grumpy as House?

I don't know what they gave me, seeing as I was drugged at the time.  But if that's House grumpy, then you just want to be left alone to sleep instead of being woken up all the time to have warm salt water squirted in the four new holes in your mouth.
Probably not a Goat, either.

My gripe is how every single would-be employer says I can't get the job because I lack work experience.

No **** sherlock, how am I supposed to change that?

"Get a job lol"

Just keep trying until you find an employer who is willing to take rookies, and specifically wants you for your talents.

If that fails, do some of your own projects and underline the experience that gave you.

Or maybe do some volunteer work for a while, I think that always looks good on a resume.

I think you mean the GOB school of job-hunting.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Got the degree but couldn't work much during that time? You don't have enough experience.

Worked instead and have great references but no degree? You aren't qualified, get a degree.

My Rosetta Stone microphone is not here yet.

It's been more than a week- nine days, in fact, and it's still not here.

Annoying.
