Right well I guess Mr. C is out. We'll have to find another person to take his place. I'm putting this RP on hold for now so that it doesn't detract from the other RPs that are currently moving forward. We'll get back to this one in a bit.

I've been busy, sorry, it slipped my mind.

I could join if you don't find anyone.

You're welcome to jump in and post whenever you want; however, if you're not going to be able to post regularly it may be better if you don't play. We need consistency.

Considering I'm starting College soon, it'd probably be better if I didn't join. Sorry for leading you on.

I think that I am going to ask that we retool this RP. My plot is fine, it'll work no matter what, but maybe we need to fix the hero situation. Do you guys want to scrap the second coming of The Black Hand and just go with a new team of heroes; or, would you like to wait until we can get this all sorted out and do it without any major changes?

I'd rather the black hand were all there or not at all. One absence is livable, but two is too many.

Sam and I were talking and he had this crazy idea. Why don't we scrap this second foray into the Enlightenment era and instead go into the Renaissance with a whole new story!? I think it's a fantastic idea that we should do right away. If nobody objects, I can keep my role as the villain and come up with something new.

Yes, this is mainly due to the fact i had an idea for a character I really like and also a lot to do with the fact that some of the old black hand people aren't really going to be on board that much. If it means splitting up the black hand I'd really rather we didn't touch the enlightenment again, since that core of players was part of what really made the story great.

When in the Renaissance are we talking?

We could definitely do something with colonialism.

I'd be up for that.
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.

Hmmm, I dunno, colonialism really seems to fit better at the beginning of the Enlightenment. The whole idea of the rennaisance in popular imagining is really more focused on achievments in the arts and sciences rather than empire building and such. Exploration, certainly, but I don't know about colonial wars and stuff politics >_>

As long as this is out of England, I could use a Yasipolitz... which means wacky fun inventing time.

Why do these RPs always devolve into the plots of wacky inventors?

Not that I mind.

People get into ruts.

My character is not a wacky inventor.
