I don't think it has become a fad. People have always had either animated or static. Personally, I think there are more static than animated. Maybe you're seeing your avatar too much.

Funny you should mention it because I was napping in class today and the thought crossed my mind to animate the jet that propels Flyman... you know, like it is in Coffee Break.

Or you can change it to this.

Or you can use it if you make a bizzaro account of yourself and name it FatMan32 1/2

That's the best you could come up with?

Besides, everyone knows that this is the alternate avatar:

What about when the Flyman laughs when you get game over?

I had one before they were cool. And mine isn't a 90 minute long movie clip either.

I just did this for nothing...

You know, maybe this can be a topic were we archive our old and/or unused avatars for new members.

not old avatars that people have already used. That would be confusing.

Unless theyre those awful faddy avatars that crop up all over the internet, in which case theyre welcome to them.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

We already have two threads dedicated to stockpiling avatars for the future.

That post just made me lose a certain game which I will not mention the name of. :(

Strangely, that post could also fit in with this other game...

No the game is called Coffee Break. Why do you think the icon in Mario Paint was a coffee cup? The instruction manual was a mistranslation.

There's your proof. Now go die for being a bastard know-it-all.
