My offer was for hydro's Naucean and I am not accepting requests, although if hydro doesn't want me to do it I can always do yours so let's just wait to see what he has to say :P

Wow! Sure if you could get it to that top quality. All my Naucean pictures are on spore wiki. There should be enough for reference :D

If you mean the planets it doesn't take long, I can do them in less than 10-15 minutes (they're not that perfect anyways :P)

If you mean how long it will take me to do the Naucean like the photo-realistic ones... hum.. since I got exams it will probably take me a while but not more than a month, probably even less than 2 weeks :P

EDIT:
I made the body mesh (neck, head, eyes, tail and legs will be modelled sepparatelly and then attached to their respective places), so here's a screenshot (I still have to move the points to their respective places ,a front/top view image would help but I couldn't find any on SporeWiki):

Do you use the renderer in Cinema 4D? Or a separate renderer?

Because a good renderer is very helpful when creating photo realistic scenes. ;)

The render in Cinema 4D is pretty good and amazing when used with Global Illumination on but I've seen a renderer called Brazil which seems to be pretty good at creating photorealistic scenes :P

Hydro, those are perfect :D

Really should have asked this earlier: How long have you been modeling?

Oh, and by "Global Illumination" do you mean that the light is coming from the entire sky? Or is it an option in the renderer (like ambient occlusion in Blender)?

By Global Illumination I mean that every object reflects light in an appropriate manner, depending on the material, so metal will reflect more light than plastic, still it reflects the color with it which is then reflected on other objects, etc. just like in reality.

I've been modelling for 3 years but I never really made a project where I went through the whole modelling process to scene and illumination to final render (I've done them sepparatelly). But since I wanted to do the whole thing I thought that the Naucean was gonna be a good project so I decided to do it :P
