also just remembered resident evil 7. Never played an RE game before but hearing good things.

Any chance you could start with an earlier Resident Evil? The new one is pretty good, but it's a far cry from the best RE has to offer.

RE4 and the RE1 remake are considered the best if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, RE1, RE2, and RE4 offer the best the series has to offer, as well as most of the main storyline. RE3 is good, but weird and also a bit harder to find.

Playing Sid Meier's Pirates again. Found a trainer with a lot of cool functionality that will allow me to tweak just about anything. Gonna start a new game with the entire map dominated by a single nation, then work from there and see what happens. Maybe seed a single large city for each of the other countries in-play.
