Making a game through a stream of thoughts.
« on: January 27, 2007, 08:06:14 am »
Basiclly this is just were we get to mkae a video game concept that is based around thoughts that come out of our head, I'm really bad with instructions so here's an example:

Poster 1: Okay, for this game we need a main character.
Poster 2: The main character is a orange named Robert, who has the power to shoot lighting bolts out of his eyes.
the next poster needs to think of a story.
Poster 3: Umm, he needs to save his boss, fro the uhh, lemons. That are evil. Next person, post the genre or mood of the story.
Poster 4: Sci-fi action RPG. Next poster, give us a main villain.
Ect. Ect.

So you describe something about the game the above poster tells you to. You can not say, "that is a stupid idea we are not doing that." unless the person say something along the lines of "Your mom is the main character!!LOLZ!"

To start us of our main character is a time traveling rabbit that lives with dinosaurs.
Next poster must say the Genre or mood of the game.

The game takes place throughout several themed stages, starting in a forest and ending in a volcano.

The next poster must post the sequence of stages you will go through.

Forest > Obligatory Field level > Obligatory Pirate Level > Obligatory Ice world > Obligatory Desert world (with pyramids and Sphinxeses) > Volcano

Whats the final boss?
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

As a rabbit, he can obviously jump high. But he also can preform magic tricks ranging from card tricks to a dove under his sleeve.

Next poster must say the multiplayer options of this game.

When Nathaniel, the albino rabbo was at the doctors office to cure his strange tongue problem that makes him unable to talk (that also makes him an outcast in society) he goes to use the restroom. Little does he know that the rest room leads him to a time machine, and the time machine is soon activated and Nathaniel is taken to the dinosaur times when the time machine explodes dropping all the objects through out the world. Nathaniel will need to find food that has been dropped from the time machine in order to survive. Little does he know, an evil team of dinosaur pirates are prepared to steal all of the future food and gizmos. When the pirates find a chesecake they create press a button on a gizzmo that turns the chesecake into a gaint monster, that eats all the pirates and creates an army of evil chesecakes! Nathaniel must stop this, and along the way he meets anyother time traveling bunny Angela, and a strong prehistoric frog who is friends with a strong rabbit, Rock.

Next poster must make some enimes you need to fight in the game.

Cheesecake Drone: Mindless and weak walking cheesecake. All over the place.
Flying Cheesecake: Cheesecake which has developed wings. Shoots you from the sky.
Angrysaurus Rex: Giant dinosaur.
Hybrid: Cheescake/Dinosaur hybrid. Very fast and strong.
The Wind: Wind is annoying. Kill it.
A Robot: Every game needs a robot.

Next poster must decide the game-changing plot twist revealed after beating the final boss.

Bert is actually an EVIL frog intent on using the time machine for reshaping the future to his own will. This of course paves way for the sequel.

Next poster will list 5 powerups you can find throughout the game.

1. Time slow down cool future gizom: Let's you slow down time using one of the future gizmos for 57 seconds.
2. Shield future gizmo: Let's you have invincibiltity for 40 seconds.
3. Future steroid type things: Lets you become stronger until you die.
4. Future Jump boots: Will let you jump higher for 6 jumps.
5. Dinosaur bait future gizmo: Let's you ride short dinosaurs for speed and attacks (by sort I mean taller then you but not huge.)

Next poster must say what will be used to regain health and (2 things because the health thing isn't interesting) the title of the game.
