Only the names that are not given by players are procedurally generated.  :)

hm, well, actually you could call it procedurally *g*

if all npc-names, especially i have other cities and ountries in my mind, are procedurally generated, do you think it will be language-specific? for example the german version has more german-sounding names, the english more english-sounding etc..
but wouldn't this be somewhat complex?

i haven't any clue of randomly or procedurally generated names, so i excuse if some questions sounding somewhat stupid :)

I had the impression you would be able to name computer-generated planets and so on as you encounter them.
