Simon the Sorcerer 4

Yep, you read that right. Some of you may remember the point and click adventure comedy gold that was Simon the sorcerer 1 and 2. Others of you may have never heard of this european game series from the golden days of Sierra and Lucas Arts, in which case you were lucky enough to miss the abysmal Simon the Sorcer 3-D. (lucky you) Well, whichever camp you fall into, if you like games like Sam and Max, or Full Throttle, then you're probally going to dig this one. The boys at Adventuresoft have decided to get back to their roots on this, the most recent installment. Using 3rd person, isometric views, ala the old school adventure games, combined with 2-D and 3-D CGI graphics, its looking like it might actually be worth more than a bag of crap. Whatever the case, check it out: http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,681
I personally dug the humor in the first two games, and was pleasently surprised to find this new one will be out in a short time. I beleive they're releasing it in Germany on February 9th, no clue when the rest of the world will see it.
