Sometimes I learn stuff I never knew but yeah, it often amounts to inane trivia and doesn't have any impact on your life whatsoever.
It's just more bite-sized stuff to entertain people.
Could equate it to junk food but that's a bit sanctimonious.

Probably not a Goat, either.

I know right?! Ever sicne posting those I have been listing to just about every song. They have like so many songs in so many different retro styles. Some songs I hated the original but really like in their style. Also there are some guest singers I know which I never knew did songs with them! Here are a few examples ...

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjt-aYQO5zA" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjt-aYQO5zA</a>
Disliked the orginal song but like it this way. Also I love Daniela Andrade.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwsEdFkdjYA" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwsEdFkdjYA</a>
Don't care for Bruno Mars but i like this.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufvZzhK_3X8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufvZzhK_3X8</a>
And this one has grown on me for some unknown reason. Both the style and original were just ok.

Also Robyn Adele Anderson is very talented!

Oh man I was just about to make a comment and then saw your final praise of Robyn Anderson. But here's my comment anyway:

I hate her. Undebiably she has a good voice but god damn resting bitch face shouldn't stay engaged when someone is singing and performing. If your job is doing something cool like music then you should have the decency to look happy with it, or at least contented (note this does not apply if your genre of choice is grunge, blues, punk or indie-folk). I also can't stand that lazy swaying her shoulders back and forth she does as an excuse for dancing. Basically every other PMJ singer manages to look dynamic and expressive when they perform, moving their arms and bodies in a way which is appropriate to what they're expressing musically, but Robyn does the same lazy swaying non stop through every song.

As a rider to this rant I'd like to say I do like PMJ but as an enthusiast of music from the period they're emulating I have to say that in general the singers don't really nail a 30s/40s/50s style very well. Possibly not what they're aiming for, but when the title of the video contains "Ella Fitgerald style cover of..." or "Billie Holliday style cover of..." and the singers don't even come remotely close it irks me.

End of rant :U Here's an unseasonably early christmas song they did which does what I was complaining about in a good way by sounding absolutely nothing like the Andrews sisters, who are awful:

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

@Krakow Sam

Fair enough. Only about 50% have I been watching the videos of. Most of the time I have it running the playlist and just listen to the music in the background while doing other things on my computer. Likewise I do not like every song either. Like the Family Guy one I disliked a lot. But i would say overall I like more than I hate. Also their cartoon theme songs in general are really bad.

Nothing against your contribution, Ulti! Thank you for it.

Does anyone else not like Did You Know Gaming? Most of it is common knowledge or stuff you can just look up if you opened Wikipedia. It's a cool service that they do over there, but I don't get the praise that some people lump on these guys for what amounts to repeating facts from a trivia book that was already written. >_>

I'll admit that's the only Did you knowing gaming I actually liked, hence why I posted it

New J-20 Chinese stealth fighter... Woot woot woot!

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwdFZ8xFUjU" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwdFZ8xFUjU</a>

OK, on a serious note watch the aircraft in the first six seconds, the one on the left of shot especially, that thing is struggling to fly straight. I don't mean it is twitchy, it has to dish out some major flight inputs to flight at about the 200kts they are going to stay in place. That is laughable, and I am not saying this under the guise of national pride, that thing is having trouble flying.

I can see the one on the left jumping all around.

Is this the Chinese-made plane that is going to end US supremacy? The one with parts that totally weren't made by other people because China lacks the technology to manufacture the parts themselves?

Hydro, I've got your video saves for after work. :3
