Mostly agree with this.
Overreacted like everyone else.

Youtube needs to be more clear about this **** though.

Hey let's get meta. What do you think you YouTube demonetizing stuff?

Ask any self-described creative person and they'll say there is no money in the arts. For every movie star there's their drama school class mates who have to live from tour to tour, hoping they'll succeed their next audition. Since leaving uni I've either entered or am planning to enter 5 writing competitions. Only one of those is a cash prize, even then it's only £2000. I have to see these opportunities as practice, making sure I can still write short pieces under pressure, while badgering my friends to let me work with them. While having a part-time, zero-hour contract job that kills the last remnants of a social life.

So money has to come from somewhere. If the internet has told us anything, people will tie themselves in knots to justify not giving money to people who create things. There are some idiots who think the entire creative industry should live in some sort of utopia where 'exposure' is sustenance enough. Unfortunately, the food industry does not agree with this. This isn't just the consumer, mind you. Advertisers expect to have some say in their investment - as they can't speak to all their creators, they deal with YouTube - who are not creatives and don't have the same control over studios have over their shows. But they exercise that control anyway. So we have reactive situations like DMCA Flagging and the threat of demonetisation, the rules of which are never clearly defined as far as I can see.

It looks like YouTube needs to be more open with their plans. This is some people's livelihoods now and I don't think it's right to live in that sort of uncertainty.

Yep. Agree. The issue is YouTube not communicating well. Which was the issue to being with. Funny when they try to get better at it and try to implement a system that makes it easier to fix misunderstanding people get all pissed and think is all a conspiracy against them.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIKUhvdjAJY" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIKUhvdjAJY</a>

FULL CIRCLE FULL TILT

Space Cadet was really good. It's actually one of three tables that Cinematronics made, though Space Cadet was the one they put with Windows (with a few modifications).

I know this because I think I am the only person in the world that bought the full game. It was also published by Maxis!!

Full Tilt! Pinball is the name of the compilation. Here are the other two tables:

Used to play a lot of these. Never got the sequel to Full Tilt! though. Also I loved Pokemon Pinball, that game was awesome!! Actually I love pinball in general and really want to get a machine myself some day. I grabbed SlamIt Pinball: Big Score on Steam a few years ago. It's pretty decent. A lot of users report bugs and problems with it, though I never noticed anything. Here's some footage of that game:

And I'm always looking for new pinball games. Pinball Arcade on Steam looks neat. One of the issues is a lot of these games are made by smaller companies that fly under the radar. And for instance, Pinball FX2 datamines your machine. So... yeah. But pinball, man. It's great!! :D

But it also depresses me a lot because most arcades don't offer pinball anymore or even skee-ball for that matter. The digital machines have invaded everything.

**EDIT**
Here is the full version of Space Cadet if anyone was curious or has no idea what erops and I are talking about.

Also, you can download Full Tilt! Pinball here!! Super slow download though! I guess they're trying to recreate that 90s online experience. :P
