I think that presentation was meant to be somewhat tongue in cheek, but if we are discussing mapped out story structures, there's also Dan Harmon's Story Circle tutorials:

Tutorial 1
Tutorial 2
Tutorial 3
Tutorial 4

And so on.

There's also Robert McKee's Story, which is more focused on screenplay writing, but provides useful commentary on story structure overall, and using scenes effectively.

And, of course, there's Hero with 1,000 Faces, which I'm embarrassed to say I've never actually read. I likely should.
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

I'd say more French, actually. Maybe we can get Flisch to help us out here.

Yep. It's not German like Flisch or French like Daft Punk or Irish like Tesla so it's SWEEEDISH OR FINNISH

So I was tryng to find an old Discovery channel show James Burke, a guy who did a show called Connections, which you can watch above. I planed to show you guys this, but decided to watch the whole episode before sharing. Little  did I know at the end the connections end up connecting to me personally. For you see the last person on the show I am indirectly related to. My mother's Father's ancestry goes back to the brother of the guy at the end (yes the brother of Dr Kellogg).
