Linked for borderline NSFW. Just to be safe.
Who are you again and why in the world would you expect anything resembling rationality or civility in youtube comments?

How about a documentary?

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC6W0XEqOLw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC6W0XEqOLw</a>

There are four parts, but I'll just post the first one.

The GG1 is my favorite locomotive. But why waste my breath saying it when I can waste my breath saying it...

I know it may be heresy... but I must admit that my favorite locomotive is not a steam locomotive. But before you kill me (Lego, since I think you're the only one that knows what I'm taking about), allow me to say that my favorite locomotive is the PRR GG1. Specifically number 4935, which resides at Strasburg Railroad, down the road. I've been in love with this engine since the first time I visited the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania at the age of four.

My lifelong dream is to drive number 4935. And once I do that, I can die happy. And if I get my dream job (driving steam locomotives at the railroad), I'm pretty sure I can achieve that goal.

She is beautiful beyond words.

The 4935 is the only GG1 left that can still operate, since it is only missing two parts and is otherwise in excellent condition. All it needs is a new transformer and a retrofit to the pantograph and it's back in business. :D

I was going to ask why you like that specific locomotive the best, but then I realised it's probably hard if not impossible to explain.

It's a wonderful piece of machinery. Back in the old days of the railroad they made things beautiful as well as functional. It's all from the Art Deco period. The GG1 in particular is a marvel to see in person. It is massive! But not only that. The locomotive (which weighs 477,000 pounds or 238 tons) has 4600 horsepower and can go from 0 to 100 in one minute. Stopping time is a bit longer. ;)

As a young kid, going to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and seeing this thing was something else. I highly recommend anyone with an interest in trains visit this museum. It's one of the best anywhere in the world and they spare no expense to ensure the integrity of their collection.

It's also clearly the Bat Train.

Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.
