Wait; was that really a deleted scene? Because if it was, I think the fact that Vader says "Luke" waay to many times is probably why it was deleted. Looks like it would have taken place right before 3PO and R2 show up at Jabba's palace.

I also find it amusing that Lucasfilm can scrounge up a bit of old film from a deleted scene 30 years old and still get cheers and screams for a small segment of film depicting Luke calibrating his newly constructed lightsabre.
