Augmented Reality is cool. First time i have seen it as a full projection system. Always annoyed me the hell that they did not do something simelar with Holographic technology in Star Trek.

This was how i saw a Aethrian Technomage actually working. They would use Augmented Reality (Generally projected so only they can see it. Like glasses rather then projectors.) So when they "cast there spells" they would make gestures to activate different form of technology build in to there suits on there sanctum. A apprentice would normally use simple projectors due to being cheap and as it is easier for the Mentor to get the same picture. A Archtechnomage would have moved beyond the need for gesturing and use a direct neural interface. Basically training there mind to manipulate technology more directly making it a true extension of them selves.

I used Augmented Reality once. To be protable at all, I would have had to have walked around with a laptop strapped to my back.
