Yeah the witch can be killed, the problem is though, her first attack will kill a player in 1 hit, so unless you can kill her before she sprints to you, one of you will die in the process :)

No. From what I understand the game is split into 'scenarios' where the survivors have to get from their spawn point to a safe house, and then eventually to an extraction point. There isn't really a freeroaming GTA aspect per se.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Think like the multiple-route maps in TF2, where as one team wins in one round, in the next round the routes available change. The maps will be something like this in Left4Dead. They will probably use individual maps with individual objectives, but will have a number of available routes to reach them.

Not to go off topic but I wish I could find someone to play those missions with who a) wanted to play the game and b) was at least okay at it.  I had to force one of my friends to try it and what invariably ended up happening every time was I had to babysit him and then we'd find a door and kill each other by slamming it open.

Back on topic, I'm not sure if I'll buy this yet, I don't have any friends who could play it with me unless we play on a LAN.  But if the single player is good enough, or if you guys set up a Gaming Steve server, i might buy it.  I have to admit, if there was a multiplayer-centric game that I would consider buying, it's this one.

What I've heard there is going to be 4 big maps that you go through and if you're a really good team and know what to do you can finnish the game in an hour.

Atleast that was what they said in an interview on GT.

This is the first time i've felt bad for having so many friends. 1 or 2 will have to wait/play in an other group. :-\ :D

I truly hope they do this game justice. I absolutely love zombies, and I love killing zombies. From what I've seen, it looks promising!

I seem to remember hearing that they've made L4D really easy to make new scenarios for. The zombies are random(ish) and will more than likely have the AI to navigate their way around any user-made level, making the possibilities pretty much endless. If we don't see a slew of user-made scenarios within a couple of months however, this game will die rapidly.
