Topic: How To Send PMs?!

Hey everybody.

I'm new to the board and as a newbie I'd appriciate if someone can give me a hand for the following.

Ok, I've been trying to answer a PM I just received but no matter where I look, I just can't seem to see any "Reply" or "Create A New Message" sort of buttons at all! I can delete what I have in my inbox but cannot create or reply the ones I already have, or at least I see no options that suggest I can do this via that particular option. Can someone please tell me how to do this here?

People under 50 posts can't send PM's after a debarcle of someone creating an account to abuse the PM system that rule was implimented don't worry before you know it you will breeze past 50.

Welcome to the fourm. You can reply to the person by email if its listed in their profile. If you want to get a message to someone, you can email me or Oviraptor and we can send them a pm with your email. It probably won't take long to reach 50.

Thanks for the info guys! Yeah, this rule surely helps to prevent abuses. I answered the guy via email and everything's fine now.

I need to message a Maxis representative about the "invalid CD key" Spore issue, but the message screen says "An error has occurred! You are not allowed to send personal messages." Is this just because I don't have enough posts, or is there a different issue?

I suggest using e-mail, as I am not aware of any maxis representatives on the board.

Oh, and you need to have a certain number of posts before you can PM.  There were...  Issues, with allowing PM's off the bat.

Then perhaps you should go to the official Spore forums, where the Maxis representatives hang around. The best you can expect from a forum like this is a chance visit from someone, and they dont read and reply to everything. You'll find the official Spore forums on the Electronic Arts (EA) website.
