Dungeons

Well, coming out on Feb 10th is the new 'Dungeons' game. Kind of like Dungeon Keeper, but newer, and with a different way of doing things (IE, keep heroes alive long enough so they feel good about themselves THEN kill them)

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Oh, I am so there. I saw this show up on Steam's coming soon tab quite awhile ago and have been waiting since. Preordered too.
Wish more older games would see kind of imitations like this one, if it's good anyway.
We'll soon see.

Mr. Sam says that he'd rather play Dungeon Keeper because it most-likely does what this game does, only better.

actualy, this game isnt even trying to hide its like dungeon keeper

but it does add its own twist to it, making it allot more interesting than a simple clone

That quote is actualy very witty, Celdur. I suggest you use that in your signature.

I can only  tell you what I've heard Mr. Sam say. Anything more would be beyond my station.

Yeah, I'm passing on this one.

I just want the original Dungeon keeper with updated graphics.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

The entire mechanic of fulfilling an adventurers wants first is a bit foreboding to me. Things like this always smell of overcomplicating things, or at least, subtracting my would-be efforts to something I don't care for, when I would rather be building an awesome dungeon. I guess I just don't have the mind for any puzzle aspects, as everything I do just feels like trying to sandbox but to someone elses requirements. Stupid mission, get out of the way, i'm trying to sandbox here. Sandbox mode? Pfft, i'm gonna sandbox right here and I don't care what you say.

But yeah, no interest here. Hope it turns out well though.

I'm joining the Wait & See Club for this one. It sounds like it'll end up feeling like a map editor, but that only the AI is allowed to play on any levels you make.

I'm joining the 'Wait until it is $5 on Steam club'.

I wonder how long it'll be before Duke Nukem Foever joins that club?

A lot sooner than twelve years.
