Songs stuck in your head
« on: October 23, 2006, 10:05:27 pm »
I have this really stupid song suck in my head from work. I don't know why they play half those songs at a JC Pennies. Some one should actually sit down and listen to the lyrics.

Anyway, it's this one part that goes

“Everyone needs a bosom for a pillow. Everyone needs a bosom”

I think it's mainly stuck because it's absurd. Why would you want a smelly guy lying on your breast? That’s a good 15 pounds to the chest; I think that would be rather uncomfortable.

ANYWAY^2, what are some songs that you have or have gotten stuck in your head?

I get that song stuck in my head all the time! I think its called Brim Full of Asha or something along those lines.

For me, I get Strauss' Radetzky March stuck in my head nearly every day. This may be because its a win tune on Poker machines and I work for a pokie company.
Dont look at me, I'm irrelevant!

Oh god, I suffer from this. I just have to hear a song for a few seconds and it gets stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Here are some I suffer from whenever I hear them, although I know there are more out there.

Blue - Eiffel 65
Hair - Cowsills
Walking on Broken Glass - Annie Lennox
She Moves - Karaja
Dare - Stan Bush
You Make me Feel Like Dancing - Leo Slayer
What is Love - Haddaway (Heck the entire Night at the Roxburry soundtrack)
Black Out Fall Out - Polysics
Orgy - Blue Monday
Blue Moon - The Marcels
Cotton Eye Joe - Rednex
Happy Fun Song - Straight outta Junior High
Hello Time bomb - Matthew Good Band
If you wanna be Happy - Jimmy soul
Sucks to be You - Prozzak
Jerk It Out - Caesers Palace
Mad World - Gary Jules
The Final Countdown - Europe
Dragostea Din Tei - O-Zone
The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny - Lemon Demon
Ready Steady Go - Paul Oakenfold
Right Here Right Now - Fatboy Slim
Seventeen - Ladytron
Streamline - Newton
My karma ran over your dogma

You're lucky. My stuck song is usually "Fish Heads" by Barnes & Barnes.

Be careful what you choose to experience. It *will* come back to haunt you.  :)

From The Simpsons :D
See My Vest
Burns: Some men hunt for sport,
            Others hunt for food,
The only thing I'm hunting for,
Is an outfit that looks good...

See my vest, see my vest,
            Made from real gorilla chest,
Feel this sweater, there's no better,
            Than authentic Irish setter.

See this hat, 'twas my cat,
My evening wear - vampire bat,
            These white slippers are albino
            African endangered rhino.

            Grizzly bear underwear,
Turtles' necks, I've got my share,
Beret of poodle, on my noodle
            It shall rest,

            Try my red robin suit,
It comes one breast or two,
See my vest, see my vest,
            See my vest.

Like my loafers?  Former gophers -
It was that or skin my chauffeurs,
            But a greyhound fur tuxedo
            Would be best,

            So let's prepare these dogs,
Mrs. Potts: Kill two for matching clogs,
Burns: See my vest, see my vest,
Oh please, won't you see my vest.

Good Grief!

Hehe, I used this song for a school project. It was stuck in my head for days since then. Usually I get Dirty Deeds (sung by Joan Jett) stuck in my head. I think mostly because Joan jett just looks real awesome in the music video.  8)

I actually have a several stuck in my noggin right now here they are

"Papercut" by Linkin Park
"Red Flag" by Billy Talent
"TNT" by AC/DC
"D-tecnoLife" by UVERworld (Jap band)

lastly, (a not really a sung song but it's the) Molten Melty Galaxy theme ala- Super Mario Galaxy. Damn you Mario and your catchy toons!  :D
Kid: Oh wow I'm being deflowered by a grown woman!
Mother: By the way I'm your mother
Kid: OH GOD NO

Crazy Train. Namely, the guitar solo. Not that it's a bad song, but when it goes through your head OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN without stopping for a pause when it ends, it gets PRETTY DARN AGGRIVATING.

There's a song I always put with Tarzan, the animated movie. I only know ONE sentence. Anyone know what what it's called? "Can you feel it in the air toooniiight", or something, is the line. I think it was used in the Gorilla Drum commercial for the chocolates.

And it's on topic, cause it's stuck in my head.

Phil Collins did that? Way back during the behind the scenes he looked a lot like Robin Williams for some reason. But when that movie came out I was young so it was hard to tell the difference ;). Well back on topic, the song for that movie was perfect. Pure awesomeness from Phil Collins, I wonder what he's doing now these days. Hmmm?

the music stuck in my head is the top gun anthem from the 1986 movie top gun. it's instrumental and the lead guitarist is very good.
