I found a free 3D modeling program called Blender. So far I think it's really good.

You can download it here. http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Blender.31.0.html

Also, you can look at the gallery. http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Gallery.55.0.html

You can post the things you make with it in this thread.

I don't do any 3D modelling or anything, but hasn't blender been out forever and a day? I swear I remember people talking about it.. long long long ago.

It probably has, but I didn't see any threads about it. I just thought I would post it since it seems like a good program.

I have Blender and I haven't used it in ages. It's a nice program, though.

Anyone remember this? I just made some stuff with it during the weekend, probably the first time I've used it since I last posted here. Anyway, this is what I made today. A face!

Almost any program is good with professionals and tutorials.  But this manages to be easy somehow.

Hell yeah!  It's amazing how fun it is to morph stuff!  Though it is hard to make something from scratch.  Oh well.  Still awesome thing.

I find that Zbrush is an amazing tool for people that sculpt with real clay, like myself. It's simple if you use tutorials and you get to know more about what everything is. I must say that requires a lot of memory space though, polygon counts can get very high with some of the creatures I make...
