What was wrong with the single player?

He said he wasn't able to play the single-player.

Advance Wars DS. It is amazing and a great portable RTS.

Advance Wars DS is turn based.

You're kidding, right?

You bumped a topic that has been inactive for half a year to correct a post? Go outside right now.

What's the harm in bumping a topic if it's still on the first page, no matter how old it is? If the portable games section is so underpopulated then it doesn't matter what topic I bump, thank you very much. Also, this is a topic that does not rely on time, there are still recommendations to be made for a system as long as games are being developed for it. Besides as Celdur said I am right, what if somebody bought the game thinking it was an RTS? RTS and TBS have entirely unique experiences, I for example, can't stand RTSs, but I love Advance Wars.

I wouldn't correct a guy that has been around 12 times longer then you, has 45 times more posts then you, and generally has more acceptance among the forum-goers then you.

The simple of it is, Don't gravedig.

Now come on Met, correcting mistakes is fine and he shouldn't not correct me just because I've been around longer.

Besides my mistake could have caused a misinformed purchase seeing as RTS and TBS are very different.

However I would also weigh the time the topic has remained dormant and the fact that it's creator's last post was... in this topic six months ago.

I'm sorry Patman is right this is the Portable games thread a post still being on the front page doesn't mean a heck of a lot it's not a busy section if you were going to add extra advice on new games that have since been released since the last post or some other useful information correcting dead information not exactly useful.

Patman is basically right in both his first and second posts. He says why you shouldn't have done it, but why he understands that you did.

Met, having been registered on a forum and posting a lot doesn't constitute validity of existence. DeadHerring and Patman are equal.
