Kangor's Revenge/Succession OOC
« on: September 21, 2006, 06:39:21 pm »
*In Kangor's ship he sends a message to all of his allies, a simple message, but one that begins a new chapter in the galaxy's history.*

"You have your orders, now go and bring victory."

With these words, millions will die. Many more will be injured, but there will be none who will forget it.

Haldoran System

The night was quiet, the city peaceful, but a squad of Forthi bombers were about to leave a mark on the Empire that would last longer than any fire that the bombs could make. They dropped a precise payload on pre-determined targets, there werent many civilians killed that night, but the Royal family lay dead. All except for Sorake, he was unharmed by the attacks. He knew that he would be the new King, which Kangor was planning from the begining.

The people called for war against the Forthi, and war was declared. The fighting would be intense, especially with the arrival of a large fleet of Mercs, that were now accompanying the Haldoran fleet for no real reason.

And Sorake knew that his reign would be remembered for generations. How right he is.

Planet Juntaar

The Kangorian ships could barely hold back the wave of enemy ships. Most of the fleet was on patrol on the borders. As the Kangorian fleet fell one by one the planetary defences sprang to life. But the enemy ships wouldnt stop coming. All the ships were either Auyuelcliad or Mercanary. You could spot some Mechanical Kangorian ships in the thick of combat. But most were in an entirely different place.

Soon hundreds of thousands of troops were landing in the city, luckily the Kangorian troops would be able to hold them off for a while, but how long....

Ulis

Jeeika Morr wasnt very excitable, but he couldnt help but be giddy after watching his fleet, which had a massive Kangorian fleet attached to it, Fire into Ulis. Round after round landed on the planets surface. The Yuminus Ships were trying to hold them back but they were failing. Luckily there is a large Auyuelcliad presence nearbye, that is the planets only hope at the moment.

But it was a dim hope.

Forthi

No Forthi had seen this amount of rage in a long time. The Gorgians were surrounding themselves with incredible weapons that they obviously didnt make and were pushing the small amount of Forthi forces on the planet back.

It happened so fast too. One second the Planet was calm, and the next the whole planet was going crazy.

"Did you call in for back up?!" A Forthi commander asked.

"Yeah, but its going to take a while" the soldier responded

The Commander looked on at the ocean of Gordians, and realized that he would make it out alive. It didnt help that Ryndalian ships were suddenly dropping large groups of angry soldiers on the planet.

Yep, that Commander had a lot going through his mind, until a shot went through it.

Auyuelcliad

Tsullist forces begin to position themselves in place for the coming war. Kangorian and Ryndalian ships follow in the Tsullist foces wake. The battle has just begun but it already looks grim for the Auyuelcliad Fleet. The battle continues raging, all the while the Auyuelcliad's seem to try and escape.

This battle will be a difficult one for both sides..

And the largest war to happen in a long time had begun. And back on Kangor's ship, he watched as his dreams unfolded. It was a grim day to be alive.

Excellent!

Yii looks at his monitor in astonishment. Calls for reinforcements have been coming in from many worlds for about a minute. His friend is staring over his shoulder.

Finally one gets enough sense to contact a superior. The same is being done thorughout the Forthi Delegation.

Forthi, Puyon System

The seven worlds and the many moons within the Puyon system go up in flame within the hour. The Puyon and Gorgian Rebel Forces (PGRF) make headway on every battlefield within this system, meeting little resistance. The Puyon and Gorgian headquarters are set up within this system, it seeming the safest area. The organized attacks of the PGRF eventually clear all the planets except for the the Puyon homeworld, a devestating blow to the morale of the rebel troops...

Forthi, Orbit Over Puyon
The Puyon had thrown quite a large attack had been amassed, but they had been beaten back by the Forhti, some loyal Puyons, and an assorted mass of the other vassal races. Large fighting was still occuring around the planet, but it was definately in the Forthi's favor. In the Puyon Orbit several rebel ships had destroyed Forhti ships although at they were quickly disposed of. The Forhti have complete control in space. Reports from probes are coming in that the rebel ships are getting organized for an attack, but the planetary defenses can't be activated because a battle just happens to be taking place near the control area.

//Juntaar heard the battle in orbit. Now he heard gunfire in his city. He knew that he was going to have a very long day. He called the DUP and hoped that they could send some guys.

He also knew that they wouldnt. He would have to hope that the Forthi could send some people cause the DUP usually dont. Oh well, he could make it through the night.//

Meanwhile, on Setlllia.... (A planet on the outer reigons of the A.O.F. Solar system.)

Hundreds of Sedmagno fleets went into orbit around the planet. Before the Ryndalian alliance could respond, they started to crash into the planet each one having the effect of a nuclear warhead once at its target, effectively wiping the planet of life completely. This process went on on several of their other planets, as the bomings went inward the outer planets were being occupied by some unknown beings, and the defence grids of the inner planets were being shut down like the ones on the outside were.

What will you do?

Junaforlor System, Ulis in orbit of Forlor

King Horjok Biil kept pondering what had caused this Kangorian force to attack. To his surprise, they were mechanical, and to his knowledge, all Kangorians of Juntaar's Empire had been de-mechanized. The Auyuelcliad defences were working well, but for how long? Already the YuniCore on Gonya had been destroyed. Was it possible that Kangor was behind this? Horjok Biil went through several archives of what had happened during the Second Ulinium War, and the only apparent cause for this attack could have been the devastating attack on Kangoria by the Holy Emperor. He pondered if it would be wise to launch a counterattack. After all, it would be unwise to such a large fleet. He summoned his adviser, Jana Kiye. "My king, I  heard from general Half that several Outer Colony ships were spotted among the fleet. This would be most peculiar, but not impossible. We lost contact with the planet Seductress a few months ago. It was under DUP control, and it seems it's even disappeared from every radar." Horjok sighs, and looks out across the beautiful Juna City, filled with it's skyscrapers and wondrous parks. "I knew the Holy Emperor... he, Nihil Morr, had a child with my mother, who was to be the heir to his Empire one day. He was a bastard however, and was never made public. All I know is he was transported to Seductress for safety during the early Second Ulinium War. I remember hearing he was the leader of a Seductrian rebellion. This worries me..."

Banaqaq, The Palace of The Three
"Auyuelcliads. The situation is dire. Our forces in space are fighting Tsullists, but we are having to retreat. Luckily, The Tsullists have to keep returning to Redhaven for fuel and repairs, and our Stealth Ships ambush them as they do. Despite this, we are being pushed back. Our intelligence points to an invasion of the Sarrakai prison planet- taking it would supply Tsull with a great deal of supplies, weopons and prisoners who would in all likelihood join him.
Our forces are fortifying Sarrakai- we are liquidating all high-risk prisoners and preparing for warfare, Due to Sarrakai's conditions, trench warfare is unavoidable. In all probability the winner will be decided by whoever can hold the air and get supplies in, which will in turn be influenced by whether either side can capture the SSM Platforms. Due to the nature of what happens on Sarrakai, we will have to refuse aid on the Sarrakai front from foriegn powers."
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone elses opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation." - Oscar Wilde

Yes, I am aware of the irony.

Polkaar, a major Kangorian world

Heavy fighting poured into the streets as Kangor's terrorist cells activated. After a series of bombs went off in all the major factories Kangor's troops, supplied with stolen weapons, began over taking the major Fortresses.

Juntaars 2nd fleet dropped 100,000 troops on the major areas, but they can only hold the most important areas. Most of the Troops were heading for the Planet Juntaar.

Juntaar

The fight, while not reaching the same numbers, had grown to the same ferocity as the Battle of Kangor City. Vicious room-by-room fighting was overtaking the once beautiful city.

The Royal Palace was the only safe zone, and thousands of troops were streaming in on both sides. As of now it was a stale-mate. But Juntaars first Fleet was on its way. Perhaps they could turn the tide of the battle. But maybe not.

Voswaar was sitting in the 4th floor of a large office building. He had shot down a small group of mercs with his Class A Assult Rifle,  and now he simply sat there, waiting. A massive explosion sent the building across the street toppling to the ground. He didnt care, he had been in too many warzones to freak out now.

His Commanding Officer walked in.

"Voswaar, your im sending your squad to help take the munnitions factory. You'll be accompanied by around 2000 other troops."

"How many enemy are defending it?"

"A little over 2500, but were better equipted to deal with them."

"yes sir."  He was now about to freak out. He knew that there were at least 4000 well armed mercs holding that factory. It was too important to leave that weakly defended.

He gripped his rifle and prepared to charge into hell itself.

Forthi, Orbit Over Puyon (1)
The Forthi armada had taken up defensive positions and was waiting for the arrival of the Puyon ships. They had destroyed some small scouting probes, but not much else. Suddenly the blackness of space warped out of dimension and the small lights of the stars behind them were blotted out. The Forthi ships fired off there missiles and projectiles so that by the time the ships actually came out of warp the weapons would be upon them. They began charging the lasers for massive power. Smaller ships poured out of the larger carriers, heading towards there targets...

Tiik was navigating his new AG-110 Fighter towards the warping enemy fleet. Numerous projectiles and missiles flew with him, slowly passing him up. One projectile was in the middle of a warping ship exactly when it came out. The projectile flew out the back of the ship, leaving a huge hole and disabling the ships engines. Thousands died within a millesecond without even knowing it.
Tiik pushed his fighter towards the nearest warping figure. It turned out being a carrier. After several seconds ships began pouring out of it and the automatic anti-fighter systems went on, shooting at him. But it was too late, he was already too close to the ship and moving very fast. His onboard weapons system began chirping, notifying him that the seekers on his missile heads were locked onto an enemy ship. He loosed an entire volley and fired off his lasers at the stream of ships, destroying seven ships as they left the hangar. Three more and he would be an ace.
Tiik flew past the docking bay entry and away from it at a very high speed. Several ships took off after him, but he lost them. Suddenly his threat reciever sounded an alarm, notifying him that harmful objects were being directed at him. Instantly he did a series of rolls and manuevers, leaving behind several mines that exploding, sheilding him from missiles and slightly stopping lasers. When the alarm stopped sounding Tiik turned around facing the carrier he had just raced away from. Tiik fired his engines to maxium throttle and blasted towards the enemy ship, a dangerous move. Missiles were locking onto him, but he was moving too fast and they exploded harmlessly behind him. Several laser shots ate away at the small shield that protected him, but he didn't stop.
After about a minute Tiik was within range. He has passed up the intercepting systems on the carrier. Quickly he opened up the bomb bay doors. Several missiles with heavy explosives appeared and he fired them the instant they had gotten a picture of the carrier. He was pulling out, getting ready to head back to his carrier when he saw the enemy fighter ahead of him. At that second everything slowed down enourmosly. It was too late to manuever, the enemy fighter was too close. Tiik's right hand reached and fired off several laser rounds while his left hand reached for the evacuation switch. The laser pulses were fired from his ship and slowly made there way towards the other fighter. Then the picture became a blur as he was thrown away from the main ship. When Tiik was able to get a clear picture he saw the huge mass of antennas and dishes that was the carriers communications array.
Tiik impacted with the main antenna. Without his spacesuit he would have been sliced into two, but with it he was able to snap it. Seconds later the carrier went up in an explosion as Tiik's bombs hit their target.

(Check for this:
Forthi, Orbit Over Puyon (?)
with a number in the place of the ? to follow the battle)

Junaforlor System, the Palace of Seduction
Jeeika Morr looked out into space, smiling with delight at the results so far. The Palace of Seduction was a masterpiece of Yunimian architecture and engineering. Two years ago he had blackmailed the most talented crew of the Holy Ulinium Empire to build him a palace. Now it was complete. All signs were positive. His agents on the surface, supporters of his late father, had organized mercenaries, who would do an act, as if they were killing Mechanical Kangorians.

In front of the remains of the Haldoran capital building

"People of Haldora!"  Sorake spoke to the crowd and cameras, "as you know, the royal family was killed today in a trajic and treacherous Forthi bombing.  As the last remaining heir to the throne, I have taken controll and have summoned the entire fleet to immediatly attack the Forthi home system in retaliation.  We will have revenge and will be recognized for our might!  Our fleet will soon arrive and rain destruction down upon the Forthi dogs."

There were cheers, but not enough to be to Sorakes liking.  Half the crowd seemed to be more interested in reports on the actual attack that in revenge, and it was likely that there was a similliar split in the rest of the populace watching his speech at home.  He would have to go on and leave the unbelievers to the government plants in the media to clear up.

Later, in Sorakes personal chambers

"How long until our forces reach the Forthi system?"  Sorake asked the admiral in charge of the fleet.

"They'll get there in a few more hours, we have already made contact with the rebel forces who are preparing to assault the Forthi home world."

"Exelent, see if you can cordinate an attack with them."  He switched over to another contact channel and a Haldoran in protective gear standing in front of a large containment chamber appears on the screen.  "Is the A.P. device ready?"

"Yes sir, but I would just like to voice my opposition to the very existance of this weapon.  The very idea that you might-"

"Silence!  I am your Lord and I will be treated as such!"  He shouted, "prepare the chamber for transport, I want to be able to move it quickly should we have to use it."  He turned off the screen and turned to a replica of an ancient tablet from the begining of the Haldoran empire.  Reading from the tablet he recited:  "And the traitor and all his freinds and family shall die, And from the ashes of his demise shall rise up the scorned son, And he shall unleash the Prophet of Chaos upon all the stars in the sky, And he shall be raised up and made supreme."  He refrained from reading the last line, as he always did.  It was the only thing that had ever made him afraid, a dark spot in what he had always thought of as his destiny, never knowing how many before him had thought they had the same destiny and had been frightened by the same line.  It read simply:  "And Terror shall have wrought all."
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.

Kangor looked over some old writing, from the Kangorian Middle Ages. That time always was interesting to him.

He was having his arm replaced and reading took his mind off the discomfort. When the procedure was done he flexed his hand a couple times, it worked fine. He stared down at the exposed wiring and the metal skeleten(sp?), he always wanted to pick at the wiring, wanting to see them broken and watching the many fluids that kept him running leaking out, but he held back.

He looked through his new messages and discovered that the Haldoran would soon make their landing in Forthi space. His plan was working well, but he felt uneasy. He wanted Juntaar to send him many messages begging for him to stop the attack.

"oh well, his head on a pike would be just as gratifying" he thought to himself.

he decided on to find a way to really get DUP to notice this conflict. He wanted to end the DUP's existance, and he was going to find a way.

"Kangor, this is Jeeika, you know, the only true heir to the Ulis throne! Just reporting to you that our scheme is working. The Yunimius believe I am saving them from your fleet! My plan is flawless, and that without your help! Ha! From what we managed to pickup, false King Horjok Biil thinks of me as his saviour! Once we, I mean I have captured what is my rightful claim, I shall put the so called "Royals" into exile! Perhaps you'd like some entertainment?"

Forthi, Outside of Shonto the Forthi Homeworld
Yivvy was on deck of the flagship, a massiv carrier that had been built and manned by Gorgians themselves. The pilots were currently get ready for the battle, going over the plans that had been devised. They only had to wait for the rendezvous with the Haldoran fleet. Then they would attack the homeworld together...

On Shonto
The planetary weapons platforms were being fully activated with the news that rebels were fighting everywhere. The mass chain that was supposed to cause some panic on Shonto had been put down, mostly due to the fact that the beings within it couldn't pull it off. Shonto was heavily defended and an amassed attack from the rebels was expected. The main thing worrying Imperialite Huyon was where the Haldoran fleet would attack.
But Shonto would stand strong. The patrolling carrier groups were being recalled around Shonto. Every second that the rebels didn't attack was a good one, allowing for the arriving carrier groups to arrive.

" What type of entertainment. And you shouldnt get cocky. You didnt do this on your own, I put up the proxy fleet to attack Ulis, I made sure my best ships got away. You just showed up and started blowing up ships that could barely attack back.

But you can prove yourself worthy to be a powerful ruler when Ulis is yours. Your next orders are to take your fleets and help Casmut Tsull. The fighting there will be some of the hardest. You will be needed quite a bit.

Im also sending more troops for you to use however you please. I suggest you try and get rid of any resistance that could spring up on the planet.

And always remain on alert for the DUP. They are usually unable to help one another, even when desperate, but if they were to join together and unify, then we could be in for a defeat."

And with that Kangor returned to his work.  He also wondered how such spoiled children could be made.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Voswaar knew that his Commander was lying about the enemy troops numbers, but this was getting annoying!!! There were around 1200 Kangorian soldiers in the Underground Bunker. And they were going to assult the Munnitions factory with that!!

He just noticed a Kangorian putting his gun to his mouth, Voswaar didnt even try and stop him. He could only think about how lucky the now dead Kangorian was, no one wanted to go to the Factory. it was nothing more than a meat-grinder.

But their Leader had begun the march into the Factory, they would arrive in its celler in a little less than an hour. So its going to be around 1199 Kangorians agianst 400 well armed mercs.

oh well.
