Yeah, send the noobs here, just what we need! Serously, if they don't know, it's their loss when the game is released. Anyone too lazy to check wikipedia probably won't bother to read the stickies here either. Prepare for thousands of "is spore multiply?" topics.

It would be just as reliable as this forum, anyway. It's not like it's even an official forum.
Uninstall... uninstall.

it's still the most accurate :P

ye, I know what you mean UrbanAnger, once I came across this Spore forum with something like 150 people and when I said something that had been confirmed for like 3 months they posted saying "How do you know? you're not Will Wright by any chance are you?" *tsk tsk*

I recently read a very good article about Spore, it was very passionate about the game but... there was also the same old misinformation about the Space Phase being "multiplayer". Wich is a shame because amongst other innovative ideas, the fact that is a Massive Single Player Game is one of the most interesting. I wonder if it's that hard to get.

well nobody really came up with a product like spore. I mean who would have the idea to just upload and download content and not be massive multiplayer.

Good point, but when you really stop and look at asynchronous content sharing it makes one wonder why it was never utilised before. It's always been there. Must just be because files would be too big without procedural-ness or something.
If you peruse my things, you get POINTS!

Only trouble is, they're Whose Line Is It Anyway points, which are infamously not worth anything.

I fear this may be the death of Will Wright (as a game developer), the amount of people who will be disappointed because they haven't been bothered to read more than a half page of old info will be many more that those how have read and watched all the interviews.

A wise Surface to Air Missile once said about marrying 9 year olds in Saudi Arabia "Its pretty hard to tell if a 9 year old is going to be hot when she grows up, kids change a lot, usually, seems like a bad system. That cute little nine year old you married could end being a fat, zitty teenager."

nah the fact that some are a little misinformed will not change the fact that its a revolutionary game.

you got that right, the way he made the game is also revolutionary: you actually don't need an armada of graphic and animation designers to make a great game.

There have been idiots before - there will be idiots again - and Will Wright will still be one of the best (if not THE best) game developer on the planet.
