Artemis fowl:The Opal deception.
« on: June 08, 2005, 12:30:51 pm »
If anyone else here follows the adventures of the teenage anti-hero and his fairy friends, they should know the forth books out.
It starts with Opal Koboi excaping the nuthouse, murdering an LEP officer, and tricking Holly Short into framing herself.
Holly must clear her name, and rescue Artemis, also on Opal's revenge list.

Once, again, Eoin Colfer's fairies with attitude blew me away  ;)

THe Artemis Fowl thing is going too far I think, it's not like people all liked the sequels.... i liked the orginal! The first is always the best.

I have read all in the series, and I thought the lastest one was not as great as the other two, but that did not stop me from constantly reading it.

This one is probably the darkest in the series, and probably the best(i thought anyway.)

I found Opal Deception disappointing. My favourite was Eternity Code.

Theres a "Taster" in the back of Eternity Code.

I like the more "in our world" ones, and i like Butler. Artemis is an interesting character, evil but going good.

i liked the way he is almost entirely evil i wish he would stay that way it makes
the series so much more sinister
