OpDDay2001

As you know, Danzik stepped down so this now brings our total to six. Please give them the same respect and help that you give the rest of us. If you aren't familiar with OpDDay2001, he resides mostly in the Spore section and will be working mostly in that area.

Well that was just LadyM's suggestion. We never really vote for mods.

As for why we need more, well Steve just wants to have more resources than "just enough." You can say we are future-proofing the community. As we are already aware Steve has less and less time to spend on the forums.

It's not a matter of desperation so much as needing more help in the Spore section, covering more time zones and having some extra eyes. Membership has grown and it's nice not to have to be here all the time.
