Trigger happy tv
« on: August 14, 2006, 01:03:45 pm »
incase your wondering what it is its a sketch show in which they play tricks on unsuspecting victims by doing things such as answering a very large mobile (cell) phone and shouting at the top of his voice (normally in quiet locations like golf courses, movie theaters, and libraries), a chef chasing an actor in a large rat costume out of a restaurant, and two actors dressed as masked Mexican wrestlers getting into a spontaneous fight in a grocery store.

i have been watching this show for quite a while, and i decided i would put it into video google and see if i got anything . . . . . . . .  . . and i did.

Were you the guy who I PMd about this a while ago? Or was that someone else.

Whoever it was was happy that they brought the show to America.

the main guy in it (the guy who created the show) is unable to do tricks anymore, everyone recognises him.

I really love shows like this and Scare Tactics.

Contrived humour is okay for intellectal digestion, but it never makes me laugh - just puts a smile on my face.  Seeing human nature perplexed on candid camera style shows though brings tears rolling down my face.  People are so funny when they meet unexpectedly absurd situations.

I love this show.

I think the best thing about this show was the conversations it spurred among my group of friends. We kept talking about making "Trigger Happy: Red Mountain" (that's the name of our high school, this was last year). We spent countless lunch hours figuring out things to do to people on campus. We didn't like our high school very much. :-P
