I highly reccomend the PC. Not just to run Spore, but to run everything!

We can build you a great computer here at GamingSteve! All we need is five thousand dollars for parts!

As the proud owner of a home-built PC and the the inspiration for my Girlfriend's home-built PC, I have to give my vote to the PC. As a DS owner I'd say you're equally well of with Fir Emblem or Pokemon. Both are good depending on your tastes. Spore though I would say will likely be better on PC.

Even though I absolutely suck at the games, heheh.  I'd also save up for either Spore or Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.  They're both very likely going to be released [in the US, at least] next year anyway.  Though, if your computer can't run Spore, then upgrading it would of course be a higher priority.

I wouldn't bother saving for Spore.  The PC version doesn't look to be out anytime soon, and who even knows if they've really started developing the handheld version yet, or if it'll be remotely similiar to the PC version.  Look at the Sims, for example.

Can't go wrong with Pokemon though.  More strategy and team building than any other game I can think of.  It'll probably be released around March, and there's a good few hundred hours of gameplay there.

And me with a five dollar allowance. It would take a while to save up for spore, but by the time I got the kickazz pc, Spore would be abandonware.

My poll is dying! I invoke my necromantic powers, draw a pentagram on my floor and set fire to a frogger cartridge to appease my dark gods, and then bump this thingg so it hits the top of the list. There seems to be a lot of votes for spore...Hmm...

Luminous Arc  ;D

Some details:

- SRPG developed by Image Epoch (http://imageepoch.co.jp)
- Music and sound production by Yasunori Mitsuda
- Character design by Shibano Kaito (http://kr3.oops.jp/)
- Published by Marvelous, 70% complete
- Standard fantasy SRPG with ADV parts where characters talk, and then SLG parts where you fight the battles
- Touchpen control can be set to be right or left handed
- SLG parts use the standard top down view
- Deathblows can be used when you fill up the Drive Guage
- Characters all seem to have voices, but no voice actors have been mentioned

Looks pretty awesome... and Mitsuda music!!  :)

You selfish people disgust me. Keeping -- nay, hording -- those delicious morsels of gaming goodness to yourselves. Bring them over here, you evil sadist.

And translate them please. My Japanese is not what it once was.

BTW, in case you're not keeping track: FIRE EMBLEM RULES!

I have as much respect for Shining Force 2 as the next guy, but Fire Emblem is better. Sorry. It is.

You can't have played a Fire Emblem. That, or you're completely insane. Or both.
