The Ring of Life

In this new era, a peculiar anomaly exists. A ring of solar systems measuring thousands of parsecs across shares one characteristic: life. Not one leading scientist can think of a good explanation for this occurence. Black holes are non-existant in this area, as are supergiants or quasars. Granted, there are a few extremes, but each solar system has at least two planets harboring life. Of these planets, many have arisen to type I status, and of course later Type II and III.

Even the type III civilizations have not discovered how such technology could exist to move black holes and entire solar systems. In fact, no civilization to date can even think about attempting such feats. Thus they think it is only that, an anomaly, or maybe something set up by The Three to keep their heads scratching, as this would not be characteristic of any of them.

The most peculiar thing is that the ring is still widening...

The Jutter are the policemen of the galaxy, whether everyone else likes it or not. Imposing fish-like creatures with huge muscular barbels, the Jutter ruthlessly practise their own brand of justice wherever they may go. Infringements of 'Galactic law' (invented and enforced exclusively by the Jutter) as simple as Jaywalking are likely to incur heavy fines or violent beatings, depending on what mood the arresting officer is in. The Judder try to model themselves on both ViS and Torpal, upholding order by brute force. The Neutrality of Naucean offends them, as they have a strong sense of right and wrong. If they say its wrong, its wrong.

Lurking Horrors


Of all the monsters used to scare young into compliance, none command the silencing power of the Draal.
Not only are they imposing in appearance with their many beady eyes, gaping, mucus dripping maw and sinewy, prehensile tongues, they are also one of the most brutal races in the galaxy.
Nearly every first contact with this race has led to the unfortunate individuals involved being ritually eaten alive on board one of the Draal's organic based deathships. These vessels are an ominous sight, traling mucus and gore through space wherever they travel.
The myths of several races make reference to evil demons appearing as 'pillars of eyes' and being 'devourers of children' so the Draal empire is obviously as old as it is powerful.
The Draal are of course, followers of Torpal. Mean and evil followers of Torpal

  The Aleunen are amphibians that have the ability to fly for short periods of time. They closely follow the Nauceans. They respect the ViS. And they hate Torpal ideals.

They posses a pair of wings. Because of their weight and the wings size, the wings are useless for flying long distances, but they can be used for short distances. Flying requires a lot of energy and that's why Aleuni don't use them as a main form of locomotion.
  They also have a horn. The horn has an organ, used for respiration and smelling, inside that is surrounded by the bone shown in the outside. Just below this horn, a hole is located.
  They developed strong retractable nails during their evolution. They used these nails to dig in the hard soil. They weren't able to develop tools for digging during their tribal stage because the rocks were too hard for them. The only useful tools for digging were developed during their City stage.
  All Aleuni is born with a slightly muscular physique. This is because mining was very important earlier in their evolution and most of the rocks and minerals found on the planet are pretty hard. They kept this feature the same way as they kept the retractable nails.
  When an Aleunen wants to swim, his or her feet become webbed. This allows them to swim easier.

The Pirate Ship: Nemesis

One million years later, in some parts of the galaxy, pirates rule the void. One of the most feared vessels is the Nemesis. Captain Ona and her crew have been on the Jutter's "Most Wanted List" since their presence was first made and they've been attributed to some of the most daring heists and violent plunders the stars have ever seen. There are even tales that vessel is cursed and that her crew man their stations even after death.

Time Rift

At he end of the Nauceans civilization the timesphere Po has an accident. Not much is known about how or why only that it happend durring the last days of the Nauceans before they ascended. After that it became shrouded in mystery as the "Time Rift". A zone of space that time did not function normally. All ships that go in are lost (think Bermuda triangle). The rift is as huge as an entire solar system and was guarded for centuries. Eventually people did not care and it went into lore. Some believe that you can reach accention by entering the rift, while other believe you just get stuck in a time loop for ever. Whatever the case it attracts treasure hunters and tourists alike. They hope they can find a ship from the past popping out or maybe one from the future ....
