If you know the URL of the picture (just right click on the picture, select properities, and the URL will be under "location") just copy the URL. Then post your message here, select the "insert image" icon (it's the second icon on the second row, right below the italic "I" button) and copy the URL inbetween the tag.

That will post the picture.

Looks great, I see a cat and some ducks there, so maybe we'll be getting a choice of pets, and a new farm animal... but why would you want ducks as a farm animal?

They had ducks in A Wonderful Life.  I layed eggs (kind of) like chickens.  So you could sell the eggs or breed the ducks to sell.  Just adds variety to the game.

Also, another interesting note is that the DS version has the same town as A Wonderful Life.

Hopefully it'll be more like GBA Harvest Moon, and less like A Wonderful Life....AWL had so many features that had such great potential, but then it was just far far too slow (among other things).

I've enjoyed all the HM games since the snes, so I'll definatly be looking forward to this one. Now I just need a DS!

Yeah... well, anyhow, I didn't play AWL, I still haven't got a GameCube... so... I played FOMT, though.

Hope this game turns out well. The last one lost its charm becuase It moved to slow. (I also disliked how they set up the cows in the last one)

Wh00!  Big fan of all the HM series... Except for ... No, I'm not even going to say the name.

But, unfortunately I don't see myself owning a DS for a long while...

I agree, AWL was way too slow.  I mean I got a bit past the toddler stage, then looked over at the chapters and went, "No way I'm waiting another 6 years for my child to grow up after I have all the upgrades, money, buildings available in the game."

I may get a DS just for the Harvest moon games... was going to get a PSP but the DS is looking better and better. The last harvest moon I played was Back to nature for the PS1. "Save the homeland" sucked royally by the way.

Ok.. I will be buying it in OCT and playing well into next year.  I spent about 9 months in AC before.  I still go back once in awhile to check on them on pull weeds.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town was a great game, took a lot to get used to. Even figured out how to marry the Harvest Goddess once. I was also playing the N64 version which I think was better, graphics and story line wise. All in all the field was gigantic, and I never had to plant in any of the lower right hand squares (EVER). But I wish they would've gave more time in one day then they did.

Great game though... ;)

I like how much time they give you, makes you have to plan stuff and pick and choose.  Thats part of my beef with HM: A wonderful life.  To much time to blow.

Chalk another one up for PatMan!

Anyway, yeah this game will be wonderful. It is strange how Harvest Moon games tend to sneak up on you.

Magical Melody was out for a month before I realized I could buy it!

Yeah, the point where I was told to find a boyfriend to marry or whatever, that's when I started to lose interest.

What are the good Harvest Moon games out there? There's like 3 for GameCube. They all look the same though.

That was the point when I stopped playing also (not to mention the constant ridicule from friends).
What if I didn't want to marry, I mean really.
I was rich single woman with my own successful farm.
What do I need a man around for anyway?
Psh, I'll do what I want!

Magical Melody is the best Harvest Moon game that is new.

I would put it in second place just behind Harvest Moon 64. But Magical Melody is a GREAT game and it is totally different than the Wonderful Life series. The Wonderful Life series are off the beaten path quite a bit.
