I think by "replaced" he means that they'll be removing what is already there and putting something slightly different there instead. Possibly some sort of electric eel.

It'd be fun if they did some miniature maps.

TFC used to have a few, the most popular being turkeyburgers. Basically all the players were shrunk down and the map was a convenience store. It was sweet!

The koth_sandvich map is like that with a kicthen, but it is horrible exposed to spawn camping demomen.

There are a few maps like that, Pat. Mostly custom, so they usually are kind of bad, but some are good! :D

I wouldn't mind playing a map on a huge sentry gun.

There's Toyfort, but all of those maps are terrible.

In conclusion, yes there are miniature maps in Team Fortress 2 but none of them are any good.

Hydro blows.

They should replace Hydro with an updated version of Casbah (OHMYGODAWESOMEMAP) or Rock2 (also awesome but possibly too complex for a TF2 player).

I haven't been to Casbah or Rock2, but they're TFC maps so they probably won't work in TF2 (2fort certainly doesn't)


You need maps that are designed to work well with every class, like pl_minepit.
