Watcher - A Spore-Like Game

Check it out! I just found it!

NOTE: When you download it, use the alternate mirror, the main one is corrupt. (Or at least it was for me.)

He might. This game is quite good at being an almost close to replicating the Cell Stage.

And if you read his development log/look at his screenshots section, you can see that he's already started on the Creature Stage.

Is there a reason that I'm having a lot of trouble attaching things to my cell?

Because the editor isn't easy to use;
It seems that the freedom in Spore is missing in this program

One is 'fake', the other is not, guess which!

I can't get past the big Sphere. I click on it and it zooms in and locks up and crashes. I'm using Windows 2000, maybe it doesn't like it.

Yeah, and the game gets more than a little bit boring after you have 45000+ evo points, no room left to upgrade, and even the brown things run from you.

That happened to me. Make sure you download from the alternate mirror, and just hang tight for a minute or two after it "crashes."

hey, this is actually a pretty cool game. At first i didn't know what to do because i tried to eat those small things in the background. Looking at those creature screenshots on that site this game might become the early "Spore Demo" we have been waiting for.

The game doesn't crash it's loading. The maker hasn't made a loading bar yet. He said it takes about 12 seconds.

Yeah, I figured that out.
The games not too bad. It does take a long time to get enough points to upgrade though.
