How long can a person edit their post's?

I was wondering, how long from the creation of a post, will it be editable?

If you're fast, it doesn't even show up as an edit.

If you're fast, it doesn't even show up as an edit.

I think you can only do that if no one has looked at your post.

It's handy though if you need to fix one little thing

And can anyone say for sure what the edit-without-showing rule is?
If you're fast, it doesn't even show up as an edit.

I never did have that figured out. I came to the conclusion that it was after someone had seen it. Someone familiar with the forum software should be able to tell us.

I think it's a certain amount of time. I have had people post after me and I still edited it without showing.

well that would depend on how long the creator of the post was alive and whether or not they were capable of actually getting the words to form on screen and the buttons to be pressed...
