Hello,
this is my thread for my own creature. I had this idea a long time ago by the way.
As you can see in the title of this thread, my creature is named "Snepres".
Picture:

Physiology:
The Snepres are an intelligent species with no legs, so they have to move like snakes.
They have two arms and on each hand are four fingers, where one finger is actually a thumb.
They also have: two eyes, a mouth, and two ears, but they have no ... "real" nose, but an organ called "air-gill". This is functionally more a gill than a nose with lungs, because Snepres breathe all the time in and at the same time out.
The air pours there, where the nose would be on humans, in and it pours out at the end of this gill like breathing system.
The fact, that they don't have any legs and that they do have an "air-gill" is due to their ancestors: The very early land vertebrates came out of the water...called the Anar.

As you can see in the pictures: they do have two limbs, which they used to pull themselves along the swamp. On the tip of their arms they have little fins, which allows them to swim.
Anar were carnivores and hunted little fish-like creatures in the water.
On their back is the air-gill, which is way bigger compared to their body than the air-gills on the Snepres. This is because in this early stage of evolution the air-gill wasn't as efficient as it is today.
Bloodline:

Blue: This group includes the Anara and all their relatives. It is comparable to our amphibians.
Green: The green group includes two legged creatures using the "fins" (feet) to walk - comparable to our reptiles.
Gray: This group is rather a subtype of the green one, because they're very similar. The only difference is: creatures of this group are using thier tail as a third leg.
Orange: This group consists of little spiny creatures. They are comparable to the porcipines and hedgehogs from the planet terra, though they only have two legs.
Red: Creatures from this group evolved their feet into wings, which allows them to fly.
Also they evolved their scales into fur because its lighter than scales - comparable to pterosaurs on terra.
The two lines you can see in the bloodline are impacts. The first one is bigger than the second.
As the bigger one hits the planet, most of the creatures died, especially the bigger ones, the smaller ones could hide in little holes from the acid rain, and the flying animals had to live in caves.
The nuclear winter caused the evolution to evolve two more animal-types:
Yellow: This group consists of digging animals which use thier legs to dig and their body to crawl over the ground just like snakes. (The Snepres belong to this group.) It is comparable to terran moles. This group evolved to escape the acid rain.
Brown: The spikes of the orange group changed into fur to withstand the cold of the nuclear winter. This group is very similar to Terra's mammals, but they dont feed their babies with milk and they still lay eggs.
The nuclear winter eliminated the most of the species, but the yellow and brown group prospered, because both could escape the acid rain and the cold of the nuclear winter.
At first it seemed, that the brown group will dominate the planet because they spawned heavy in this period after the impact and had a very big population.
But it seemed that (this) mother earth didn't want them to be dominant and sent another boulder.
This second boulder let the brown group nearly become extinct, so that the planet was nearly blank, at least the surface, because underground lived a very big population of the yellow group and after the impact they came out of the earth to capture the most niches, which were abandoned.
One of the niches they didn't fill, was the niche of the air and after the air was clean there evolved the (until now) last group:
Purple: This group contains flying creatures without fur but scales and one leg (see gray group).
They could evolve, because the other flying group (red) lived in caves at this point.
As you can see in this bloodline there is thick end of the red line. That's because of the continents. Soon I will show a picture of the planet's surface, so i can explain it.
Of course I will post more pictures of the animals as well.
Back to the Snepres:
The Snepres didn't develop space-travel, but are technically progressive.
They even developed a time travel machine, but it was destroyed by the government, because they thought its too powerfull. They even destroyed the plans to build such a machine and let the Snepres who built the machine "disappear". This mahcine was mostly used by paleontologists to study animals from the past.
Snepres aren't as warlike as other species, and they didn't have much wars on their planet.
Comments and helpful criticism is always welcome!
EDIT: Changed the grammar and way of writing, so that it doesn't look like a 6-year-old child has written that.
