In that picture by Gec, is the guy getting beaten up one of the creatures from the Spore official flash intro?

You'd have to ask the artist yourself.

Wow, Gryfon can get THAT fat? I wish my race was a crazy carnivore even more, and don't say "But there chewy!" cause people LIKE chewy, why do you think jerky is so popular?

Why, yes it is. I usually try to include a creature that has been shown in Spore. I don't think the 4-eyed beasts were actually made in the game so I gave them some glory.

I would make 'em as fat as an immoble blob of flesh, you won't even recognize them. But I think that would be too grotuesque for the creatures original image. Still, do you think there is such a Gryfon in existance that would be a mountain of obesity? :P

They are not bosoms, they are man-boobs. Although in the case on Don Jellybean, they're Id-boobs, cause the Don, like Slack, is an Id. Also, the Don is about as big as any gryfon could ever get, 120 lbs on a 4 foot frame. By Gryfon standards, he's like Will Smiths' Uncle Phil (the judge) from "Fresh Prince Of Bellair."

I was never given the proper frame limits when drawing it, I thought he semmed a little tall. :(
They're called moobs in male terms, BTW. ;D In the case of Don, they're doobs.

The Gryfon & Humanity

If you don't know, Necromonicon Pod Ships are based off the basic design of the first Gryfon Science Vessel to visit Abbadon, the Necromonicon homeworld. Here we see a typical GSV visiting a familiar blue and green planet.

The Gryfon, being of small stature, use mechanized exoskeletons to improve they dexterity. The exoskeleton is covered in a sterile mesh, so any unwanted particles are killed on contact. It resembles a Naucean Nano Suit, however the Neacean don't trust the Gryfon enough to give them that kind of technology. Any Nano suits are aquired through black market deals.

The Gryfon enjoy learning as much about other beings as possible, to improve trade. This picture shows a typical Gryfon scientist getting ready to experiment on a primitive inhabitant of the blue and green planet. I wonder what his subject is thinking right now?
